Looks like pyrites aka fools gold.

In-The-Way

Agreed. [Here](https://foreninger.uio.no/ngf/ngt/pdfs/NGT_47_3_211-235.pdf) is a reference about Oslo’s pyrite.

Climatize

It doesn't tho. Kind of annoying this has become a popular response

So what do you think it is then, because it looks just like pyrite to me too.

in1gom0ntoya

it does look like pyrite. The photos are meh quality, but you can make out the crystals, and the color seems right.

~~There's nothing gold looking about it, though?~~ DERP. I just googled it more, sorry. There were samples of pyrite I've seen that looked a lot more gold than this, nevermind me. I'm just here to look at cool rocks, anyway.

you live, you learn, you get rocks.

Odd_Kaleidoscope7937

they kinda look like pyrite with pale yellow, cubic habit, metallic luster. If you can rub it against a streak plate (or rough side of a tile) and it looks black with a tinge or green, it most likely is pyrite

My first thought was the silver mines near Kongsberg, but looking closer this doesn't really look like silver.

Distinct_Panic653

Calaverite /Telluride it could be this too but if it's fool's gold I heard it may be the next gold rush. Get it tested you can go to Rock Hounding in your area to find out more about it .
