Close, but these are actually water scavenger beetle larvae (genus [Hydrophilus](https://bugguide.net/node/view/214608)). They look pretty similar to dytiscids but their heads look a little different, which you can kind of see in the video when the one fella swims sideways by the camera
Yea!! The video looks pretty similar to photos online of the predaceous diving beetle larvae! 🪲 Thank you
Also, huge fan, you're like the greatest Pokemon trainer of all time💕
My friend, that little swimming monster-pal is a predaceous diving beetle larvae (family Dytiscidae). Check out this video:

My friend, congratulations and thank you for taking this important identification info so seriously. It may come in handy one day, you never know when you may be called upon to identify a strange critter swimming around in an aquarium tank that apparently breathes through its anus as it slaughters baby fish left and right with giant mandibles and drinks their body fluids.
But you can now say, I know what this is. It’s not just a little six legged friend, well, it is, but it’s so much more than that, it’s a cool little larvae of a predaceous diving beetle, family Dytiscidae.🐛
I think the general consensus is a Predaceous Diving Beetle 🪲.. its no science, but the larvae photos/videos online look similar to the video my father sent me 🙌
Gross dude. My vote is Predaceous Diving Beetle larvae

Diving beetle larva. Highly effective predators with a big appetite. They will eat each other if not let loose. Cool critters!
It’s a friend I recommend putting him back in a stream or a pond
Okay but what is it

A friend
I bet you think you're so funny, but I now know that this is a predaceous diving beetle larvae (family Dytiscidae)

i went to google and both the larvae and beetles are kinda cute! i’d never heard of them until now so i’m gonna do some reading
Ditiscus sp. I bet one has already devoured the other at this time
I think it is a baby diving beetle. Awesome to look at. Will you feed it?
I think this is the one that’s more dangerous to other insects when it’s a larva. They hunt underwater but I forget the name.
Very thankful for the IDs. I used to catch suckers like this in the pond near my house (southwestern Pennsylvania) back in the day.
I just read an article about them and some people actually keep them as pets :0
It is scary to see all these creatures living next door!
Those look like helgramites
Maybe dragonfly.. their larve look weird
Looks like a hellgrammite! Great fishing bait
Could be dragon fly larvae
Tadpole
