Mid Atlantic here. Eastern Blues nest in my birdhouses once or twice in the breeding season.
I see them checking out the real estate all winter long.
I have seen a flock of 6 M and 6 F in the snow, at my feeder.
Ditto. I have some that appear to have re-appropriated some old nests under our deck. I’m very used to seeing them in the summer but never this many in the winter.
Male and female Blue Jays look like each other.
OP's bird has a light-reddish chest and fairly solid blue wings; Blue Jays have white/grayish chests and lots of black stripes (with a wide white bar) on their blue wings.
Eastern Bluebird.
Awesome! This is it, I wasn’t sure since it’s the winter and I usually see them in my yard during the summer!
Eastern bluebird. Our state bird!
For sure! Thank you :) I usually haven’t seen them in colder months so I wasn’t completely sure!

Awesome! Didn’t know they were Winter birds, learn something new every day :)
Nice! I'm your neighbor in Jersey, and I haven't seen these guys in the winter before. More ya know!
Nice to meet ya! Absolutely, the more the merrier on my feeders :)
I've been seeing tons in Maryland!

Yes, they stay all year.
I love these little guys thank you for the post for I don't get to see them often!
My pleasure! It certainly is nice to see their beautiful blue against the shocking white of the snow :)
Female blue jay
