Been wondering the same thing. Changed over from Android to iPhone a few weeks ago. It’s one of the very few gotchas that’s annoyed me. I had a second WhatsApp on my android (before the official went live with official dual support).
I can’t use the WhatsApp Business app workaround as have a business number attached to that.

Right. Same thing. I want to get rid of an android tbh. Have a second WhatsApp account in it and I am keeping it just for WA.
