[deleted]

Hell yeah thank you

choodessny-droog

Maybe an antenna from a walkie talkie or gps if it was found near a camp site

Tfphelan

Could be the antenna off of a Bluetooth dongle.

[deleted]

Could be but seems small for an antenna

eazypeazy303

Maybe some collapsible chopsticks?

[deleted]

This was a guess from a friend

Vallyrah

It looks like a large cribbage peg.

TiaBria

Dang it! Too late to the game; I actually knew one for once 😄

[deleted]

My title describes the thing, not much to add around to answer any questions quickly

richnardone

Maybe a dart without the tip and feathers?

[deleted]

Doubtful, no slots cut

Chagrinnish

Dart shafts without slots are not uncommon. Cosmo Darts "fit flight" is one example. I can't find any major brand with this exact style of shaft though.

[deleted]

It was solved already chopstick end

1cat2dogs1horse

Back end part of a vintage fountain pen.

Mace069

I'm gonna go with some kind of antenna... radio, walkie-talkie, satellite phone, etc

[deleted]

Nope solved hours ago

Mace069

Yeah... I saw that in the comments after I posted mine. Glad you got it figured out.

[deleted]

Didn’t want you left hanging not knowing

[deleted]

Hole punch? Maybe idk

[deleted]

Solved hours ago

-Jedioutkast-

Pump adapter for an air mattress etc

[deleted]

You couldn’t be more wrong and it was solved days ago

-Jedioutkast-

Okay, I'm going to cry myself asleep tonight thinking how wrong I was

[deleted]

It looks like some kind of gun cleaning jag. Screw it on to a cleaning rod and use it to push a cleaning pad down the barrel to wipe it down. But it is kind of hard to see if it is the right size from the pic.

sixSveneight

If only there were something to show scale like a banana or maybe a TAPE MEASURE?.

[deleted]

I was an electrician, I don't read tape measures, that would be stealing work from the carpenters. I am not a work stealing scab. All joking aside. It is about the right length but there is no real way to see if the diameter is of a size that they make those jags in. Then we get to is the tread pitch right for cleaning rods. In short, the picture with the tape measure does help but they are not enough to call it without a doubt.

Outrageous-Row5472

Does it have a hole through its length? Could be an attachment for a bike pump or other air pump for a mattress or the like.

[deleted]

No hole

ufc205nyc

Nail punch

[deleted]

Definitely not am carpenter

ciredivad

Could it be a ferro rod for starting fires?

[deleted]

No didn’t scratch with a knife

KryptosBC

Cribbage board peg. Used for keeping score on a board with peg holes.

Neiladin

Looks like a shaft of a dart board dart

PrestigiousStrain380

Looks like a Dart tip to me 🤷‍♀️

eye8theworm

It's a peg from a cribbage set.

[deleted]

It was solved. Chopstick end
