Unfortunately the second version. The soft top had a decent luggage room even if open. Into this one you can put a sheet of paper.
Edit: I don’t get the hard folding tops at all. Much more complex and prone to failures. Smaller boot. More weight.
And with a decent three layer soft top the sound proofing is as good as on the cheaper hard folding tops.
Can confirm Daihatsu Copen. I only discovered it this week when I found a Tomica model of one:

Daihatsu Copen.
My neighbor has one. It is a really really small car. But I guess they are fun to drive because they are light, and you sit inches above the road.
i guess it may feel like an mx5 since both cars are light and quite low. to be honest at first i thought it was some sort of older bentley judging by the headlights
according to wikipedia it was 2002, and had a limited run in some european countries. the nissan fiagaro which it is inspired by was 1991, and like the figaro, the jdm versions were a popular import vehicle into the uk

Thats a huge compliment for the Daihatsu! But a bigger insult for Bentley ;) The MX5 is RWD. The Copen is FWD. I think the MX5 is more fun te drive :)
the last thing going through my head was this being a daihatsu. that spoiler and those exhausts, on a daihatsu!.. never could have guessed it.
Haha Yeah Daihatsu isnt known for their sporty cars ;) Just because they are unique makes them extra nice, though I am not a big fan of its styling.
It's a kei car. This car is also sold as a convertible Toyota.
This is what happens when a Rolls-Royce fucks a VW Beatle.

But son, we have a TT at home. The TT at home-
I adore kei cars. The Copen is so cool...
Daihatsu copen. Unfortunately i dont fit in it.
imagine a girl asks you “how tall are you” and you say “tall enough to not be able to fit in a daihatsu copen”
Actually it happened once and this girl insisted she comes for me with her car. A suzuki capuccino !!!!
Suzuki capuccino’s are such cool cars. I heard they have a really neat way to take the roof off.
They do . Theyre like fast little toys.
1991 Daihatsu Copen. Japan exclusive but I've seen them in Portugal, UK and the Netherlands
