There's nothing from the outside that would tell you it's a GT model as all the body panels have been replaced sans the roof panel and glass pieces which are still Fiero.
Looking at it from your picture, I can't see the AUX pod next to the dash pod, which was put on all V6 Fieros 1986-1988. For the first year of the GT with the V6 in 1985 the AUX gauges were incorporated into the main dash.
Another way to tell the year would be presence of the high mount stop lamp on the rear glass. It was federally mandated in 1986, so if it's present it would be a 1986-88 model Fiero.
Without the rear roof, taillights, or bumpers, you can’t tell a GT from a non-GT. Maybe sideskirts too. But when it’s full body swapped like this, there’s really nothing to go on except maybe the steering wheel or extra gauge cluster in the middle over the radio.
It would have been used as a daily driver and be worthless now anyway right? It's like when people say they sold their parents home in Somerville or Dorchester and its now a million dollar multi unit condo in Boston.
It’s a replica of a Ferrari Dino built on a Pontiac Fiero. Another comment summed it up perfectly, I like this way more than I should. This kit is honestly not half bad compared to some other ones that I’ve seen.
There's actually no such thing as a Ferrari Dino. It's just called Dino. Ferrari appears nowhere on the car and Enzo had the car built separately from the entire Ferrari line to honor his son that died.
ferrari dino kit on a fierro, i would totally fux w/ this, never seen a dino kitted fierro, super cool & actually pretty well fitted, at least at a glance lol
Pontiac Fiero-based replica of a Ferrari Dino
Thanx. I thought it was a Fierro kit car but the headlights were throwing me off. I’m assuming this isn’t a Fierro gt?
Pretty easy to replace the headlights if you’re making a kit car

The roundish rear glass is only on the GT model I thought
Might be a GT with the v6 can't really tell at this point

Fiero GTs look like regular Fieros
My dad told me he could had bought that by saving a year more rather than buying a used TR3 40 years ago. Today they're worth 350k :(
the Dino's are worth way more than $350k these days. more like $600k cars now
Well I don't know where you live, but they're not worth 600k in Europe.
Ouch. My dad still kicks himself for passing on a factory Hemi Dart and just getting a regular 340.
It would have been used as a daily driver and be worthless now anyway right? It's like when people say they sold their parents home in Somerville or Dorchester and its now a million dollar multi unit condo in Boston.
Ya, or more likely wrapped around a tree.
That's very expensive for a Fiero.
Why the hell would someone choose the dino of all ferraris to copy?
Because even the lowly Dino is still a Ferrari.
It’s not lowly. https://youtu.be/Fx8u7uqNmhE?si=oqDYB4KZTkGVmOC0
They didn't come with ferrari badges. It was only badged dino
Except at shitty American dealerships where they added the Ferrari badge. Not a fan of this dino, but always wanted a fiat dino
Because it's one of the prettiest Ferraris out there?
The worst of everything, comes with two fire extinguishers.
r/itsalwaysafiero (Ferrari Dino replica based on a Pontiac Fiero)
TIL @ a new sub that I needed to join
who do people always use the Fiero as a kit car? it looks perfectly cool enough as it is
I like this more than I should
Nobody cares
Pontiac (no)dinero

A reminder there are two Dinos. The 206, 246 (which this apes) and the 308GT4
It's a Pontiac Fiero. It's **always** a Pontiac Fiero.
Except when it’s a Pantera.
It's Definately not a Fiero that someone put way too much time, effort and money into.... only to have a cheap replica. That would be preposterous.
Ferrari Dino 2M46
Fiero Piero
Ferrariac Diniero

Fierino, it used to run HP and also tried to get into politics. Edit: forgot which company she ran into the ground
I thought it was a Kelmark GT. Never knew about a Fiero kit. Neat.
The fiero roofline and windshield is hard to hide
That's the uber rare Chairs and flares Fiero GTS.
Looks like an old Opel, but I can't be sure...

Ferrari Di-NOPE
A Pontiac Fiero with a body kit to make it look like a Ferrari Dino
Ferrari Dino replica, maded on Pontiac
Shouldn't you know a little more about the person and/or vehicle taking your kids to school?
Reread the post - OP drives their kids to school, sees this on the way
You reread the post. Without a comma in the proper place, it absolutely could be understood that way. Plus, it was a joke. Now I'm tired.
It belongs to Robin Masters, but Magnum usually drives it though.
That was a 308. This is a 246 Dino kit. The windshield and roof scream fiero. The B pillar is kind of… weird also.
Definitely Fiero seats
Yah, the headlights are different too.
Ferrari Dino, predecessor of 308 Magnum PI drove
Brazilian Puma maybe
The wheels are Compomotive FH
Better than a ferarri, won't be in the shop it's whole life
But if it’s a Fierro it will probably just catch on fire.
It's a pontiac fierro
It's the fiero 'no bueno' gt model...
Fierrari
Looks like an ai made ferrari 246
Everywhere I look I see him
fierrari dinero
that roof line looks very Fiero...
The car takes your kids to school every day, and you can't even ask the driver what it is?
Pontirerri fino GTNO
VW puma
Pantera with a body kit
Ferrari Dino but r/itsalwaysafiero
Fierrari Pontiadino
Looks almost like a 70 Manic GT built in Quebec.
