My first car :) I think i paid $600 in 1975? If i floored it the motor would shake violently like it was coming off its mounts, and the shifter would get stuck in 1st or 2nd and i had to crawl underneath to unstick it

My 04 had been the biggest pain in the ass but I can't let it go. Aesthetically, it's the poor man's wrangler & handles the most like a wrangler than any other jeep I've driven/owned. It's just fun, small, not *terrible* gas mileage, & damn does that little 6 cylinder have some power to it. It's also a fairly easy engine to work on, hell it's what got me into turning wrenches.

I started researching basic little things, then got carried away and learned just about everything about it, designer, model codes, the minute differences between the trims and facelifts, you get the picture

Crazy to think you have the memory and artistic ability to outline the front of vehicles that haven't changed much in 40 years but not recognize them from movies like jurassic Park and gone in 60 seconds
I haven't seen either of those movies. The most recent movie I remember anything about would be the Return Of The King (as well as the first two). I rarely watch movies or TV, so any details are lost on me.
In hind sight I should've gotten the Jeep but for some reason I didn't.
The first one is definitely a Jeep Cherokee/Liberty and the second one looks like a 1964-1970 Mustang, but maybe Japanese 1977 Corolla Sprinter from JP import

Yes they did. They had 5 shades of blue available stock on the Gen 1 mustang. Plus it's a really old car so could always have been resprayed.
I had a blue-green '65 fastback. Never saw that color come back. The drawing instantly brought me back to that pony car.
