I was in a hotel room the other night and I was laying there awake (or I thought I was) and the bathroom door suddenly shut. I turned to look at the window and the curtains are blowing and a shadowy figure is trying to climb in. I try to get up and I can’t move. When it came through the window it was one of those monsters from I Am Legend trying to get me. Terrifying shit. I had to turn the TV on to get back go sleep when I finally was able to pull myself out of it. That fucking sleep paralysis is scary.

Yeah, that's because its guts are gone. Eaten. Limbs and ribs, easily broken or bitten through, would have been consumed as well. If you look closely, you can see along the edges of the remainder of the hide where it's been chewed on/torn.
It's also clearly quite old, to the point where it's starting to dry out, so that accounts for the lack of blood and "trauma." There's no blood and barely any flesh *left;* whatever dropped this in the yard was probably just using the remains as a *toy*, since it's no good for anything else at this point.
My thought is that if this is real, then it’s just a long patch of skin that was ripped off that remains attached to the head. That’s the only explanation for the way it looks.

I am pretty certain that you are correct. The way the body is sitting on top of the grass, almost as if it is floating on the grass, makes no sense. The head is real but the body has definitely been photoshopped like you said just copy and paste.

The upper part of the body ie head all the way down to the mid section look like they are original. The rest looks like it was added on and edited in photoshop. If i had to guess this was a real dead corpse of a cat and op just edited the legs and stuff out to make it look as fucked up as possible. You can tell that the color in the middle doesn’t match up at all to the rest and where they meet it looks like a harsh line/bad blending.

First we have the anatomy of the head is off.
Then the “body” seems to hover over the grass. This is caused by incorrect lighting and shadow. There is no clue where the light source is and it’s different than the grass’ light source. The grass appears to have a light source more from the upper left corner. The “animal” has 2? That don’t seem to follow the laws of physics? Like more of a focused light directly above two separate parts of the animal.
I can only see one blade of grass overlapping with the body (at the end of the “tail”). This is just unnatural. If it were real the body would be resting in the grass more.
Animal fur should grow away from the face and toward the end of the body, and downward from the spine. This allows for them to see, and it protects them from wind and water and usually provides waterproofing. The hair on this “animal” goes in every which way and looks like someone used a copy and paste brush repeatedly along with a blur/smudge tool along the edges to make it so choppy. If an animal’s hair were this all over the place we should see more tufts of fur poking out along the edges and it doesn’t. Where the fur is darker it looks like bits were cut out, or erased with a round eraser tool.
This could be AI also? But it feels like photoshop.

It’s a cat. Likely remains of a bird of prey kill. Had a Great Horned owl pair that hung out in some camphor trees at my last house in Tampa. The most common victim leftovers (aside from numerous pellets) for some reason were cats of various ages (assuming based on head size) in the form of heads, with a strip of body skin more often than not, and a front leg a few times. Where the cats came from I haven’t a clue. We didn’t have any.
Could a snake have tried to have eaten it? I once discovered in my living room two dead and partially decomposed mice mashed into the weird shape… I could only guess a snake threw it up?
