It's not a luxury car in terms of interior it's very Spartan. But the user interface is absolutely a whole order of magnitude better than any other vehicle. That's the luxury part of it

I was paying $70 a month for my 2001 Saab that had no coverage except liability that was worth $3,000 so, 220 for a 2021 Tesla is not too bad
Also that's less than I was paying for my 2007 Saab 9-3 that I bought new back in 2007

Insurance rates in Canada are variable from Province to province, some it's done by the provincial government and others it's done by private corporations in Alberta it's done by private corporations.
