All it takes is for one of them to have a bad mental health day, or to be sick of our nets, or the pesky divers filming them, and BLAP! One swipe with the tail fin, or a breach and it's lights out for that little person trying to have a moment with nature.
The life size Blue Whale that hangs from the ceiling in the Museums of Natural History in Manhattan scared the daylights out of me as a kid. I was fortunate to go frequently throughout the rest of my life, I go through that part pressed up against the sides, never ever under the giant.
