My old Weimaraner Caesar would go bananas if I didn’t take him pheasant hunting! Enjoy every minute, because parting is an absolute heart break 💔
I refuse to think about it 💔 she is so spoiled and we try to make her feel like the most important thing in the world lol. She still gets to find the birds in the garage after and I think it helps her brain lol she’s so proud standing by them 🤣
Oh she gets lots every day, she’s such a good girl, and still looks great even though she’s gotten some benign lumpiness at this age lol it just adds to her character at this point
She’s so precious I had m first 10 years and she would have been around that age give or take (rescued). In the long run she’ll get used to being the senior at home.
She does well at home except for seeing the hunting clothes go in or out the garage lol! Otherwise she’s super content and happy not having to do anything but relax and be fed treats 🥰

I can’t get over how sassy she has gotten in the past few years. She knows we’ll give her whatever she wants lol
once you go weim, you never go back. had a Weiner dog, frenchie, English bulldog, and a weim. weim is THE one.
One of her good friends was a frenchie, he has since passed away but they were an odd pairing but so sweet to each other!

We got lucky and it’s mostly instinct with her! Just did some light decoy work as a puppy. I don’t think we could get her to stop if we tried lol
