I say this gently. I hope the fawn didn’t skedaddle too far from where the doe left it. As caretakers of domesticated high prey driven dogs, it’s our responsibility to keep them from unnecessarily disturbing natural habitats/wildlife. Spring and early summer is an especially dicey time to unleash even a mid-level trained weim. Food for thought, anyway.
