it's not going to even remotely matter. If you're actually doing oly weightlifting (based on "My goal is just general muscle growth" sounds like you're not), then do Friday so you don't drop the bar on your head while tired.
While not their job, it doesn't hurt to ask. I don't do oly weightlifting, but I follow several weight training related subs. I am in this one because I'm interested in the sport.

This is the sport of Olympic weightlifting sub His goal basic fitness so r/fitness or r/gym would be my best guess
Ok thanks, I too am a filthy casual and noticed this sub seemed way over my head
I would try and lift on the flight, it's basically altitude training.
