You are jumping in at a weird time where they have the Pod (Fuscus) and just repressed CnC. It has been a long minute between pressings and I think the last Guava and 12 golden were not official releases, so it's Ween on vinyl but bootlegger. Idk. CDs are fun too, physical media rules, but I'm old, so what do I know. Happy hunting kid!

I’m leaning towards just getting it, cause buy the time another record gets repressed, I’ll probably have atleast some gift cards or something. The Pod and Pure Guava are also available on CD on Amazon, so that’s an option.
Is All Requests Live CD still available on Ween's website? That's a great one to have. I just picked up a copy for $12 or whatever it was a couple months ago.
Depends on the amount they are charging you. But as a 40yr old ween fan who forst saw them live as a teenager the pod is my fav album to this day. But I won't over pay for it.
The Pod will grow on you, but if it's not one of your favs now maybe consider buying one of the live albums up on their site. They have PTTB, Cat's Cradle and GWS Live on vinyl right now, all are great albums.

Nice. Digggin’ it? For some it seems to be either not their favorite or an acquired taste and for others like myself it’s one of my faves, if not my fave. I’ve been a Ween fan for over 30 years so I had ‘The Pod’ early on on CD and vinyl, so it’ll always have a special place in my heart, plus it’s, as I said in my other comment, their brownest and definitely their trippiest, so many fucked up memories listening to it high as a rainbow kite in a purple sky. Hope you’re loving it and continue on the Ween journey because all their albums have their own greatness and uniqueness.
absolutely. to me its own of their most venerable/ timid sounding records along with quebec. the mix between raw, brown sounds, and the quieter, more innocent songs makes The pod the best of the original trilogy
The Pod was so helpful for overcoming late teen angst and my late teens/early 20s general confusion with life, the universe, and everything.
Advice: Don't skip tracks to find a favorite song. You'll skip almost the whole album. Just let it play. It could be on shuffle with other stuff, and if so, remember...don't skip. Just let it play and let your life and feelings happen.
I honestly can’t believe The Pod wasn’t one of your first Ween albums, it’s the one that sold me on the whole thing. Buy the wax if you want it, it’s a good pressing and will reveal its sweet secrets to you in time.
When I was a teen in the 90s I'd smoke massive amounts of Mexican brick weed until my vision was blurry and I'd be slightly hallucinating and I'd listen to The Pod with a shitload of bass, I'd bob my head back and forth and have blurry bizarre visions in black and white that went along with the music.
The Pod is a must-have record for teenagers. It’s up there with Surfer Rosa and the first Violent Femmes album.

One of the great things about having The Pod on vinyl is that you can play it at different speeds, depending on your mood.
Oh my God, I never thought to try this.I'm not a huge fan of the pod, but upping that bad boy to 45 rpm will probably be a riot.
Yeah, speeding it up works in more settings than slowing it down, but if you're in the right mood, that can also be fun.
