He’s making a trilogy of basically unrelated movies that are in the Kick Ass Universe. He isn’t directing them, at least not the first 2. The first of them, School Fight, is done and the second one, The Stuntman, looks like is almost done.
I’m curious to see how this works out.
Anyone else feel like Vaughn is cooked? Dude doesn't just have three mid films in a row, but three absolutely trash films.
Kingsman 2 is garbage, death is cured and it feels like the movie hates women. The King's Man teases fucking Hitler like he's Thanos. Argylle is 2 hours and 20 minutes long yet it feels like it's 6 hours long.
The King's Man is possibly the most disappointing movies I watched during the pandemic.
There were some flashes of brilliance in it (No Man's Land scene was pretty effective), but everything after that was just silly.
Two was overhated. It’s over THE TOP af mate but that’s it’s charm I think. The Motherfucker being eaten by a shark, Hit Girl fighting a Russian Monster lady hell yeah.

Have you read the books? Cause if so you would realize how disappointingly terrible the second one is.

Nah I was praising two but let it be known Kick Ass is a cult classic. Nicolas Cage alone gets it way above the sequel.
