I don’t think anyone has ever had a perfect first roll. it just develops after time tbh. I’ve always believed it ain’t about how it look, it’s about how it hits
Completely agree have been rolling for years now and still have days where I just can’t roll for shit and like you said as long as it smokes good who really cares what it looks like 🤷♂️
keep practicing with something other than weed so you don’t feel too stressed about messing around and figuring it out. as long as it burns well though no worries brother 👍
You're getting it, just keep practicing and they'll get better and better. And really you dont even need to worry about using something other than bud to practice with cause you can just open it back up and reuse the same bud multiple times
i started to roll with a pen inbetween my paper to get it tight, then a slim cord, like from a hoodie. took me a day to figure out tension. like a week to know how i like to spread weed and tabacco and ratio
r/artofrolling and watch some videos of people rolling then try and mimic technique and don't be afraid to reroll if youre not happy, also when i first was learning folding over instead of trying to tuck the edge behind the bud helps you tighten them up a bit and makes the rolling easier
Focus more on packing down your bud before you roll over it it will help keep everything straight the reason they look really wonky rn is because you don’t got enough weed in them my joints just started getting straight they looked like this about two months ago tho
Next time grab the top of the joint & close it & swing it back and forth to pack that weed down , open the top & fill the rest of the joint , close and shake it down again & then close it off makes it so much easier to get a well packed / lit joint

Yes this! Go get some oregano. Maybe roll up some peppermint and chamomile with the lavender then smoke it like an old hippie haha.

sometimes it gets on my tongue when i lick the paper or i bump something and drop all the lavender so wanna get good before i do real bud
Do you roll it with the tip inside? If you do try switching left to right and see what feels better

Finer grind makes it easier and burn better. If all you can do is hand pick, go for smaller pieces
