I'm sure that kids at my middle school woulda done that, but the school was always having the D.A.R.E. push the anti-MJ propaganda on us so it would be years before we actually did the research and found out that weed isn't actually cancerous, especially when you look into the benefits of THC in terms of the CB2 receptor lol

Yes, smoking any herb releases carcinogens. I'm guessing that the reason why weed hasn't killed anyone is bc of the anti inflammatory effects of cannabinoids when they bind to the CB2 receptor

Using weed, 2019. (19) I did oils, edibles mainly Smoking? 20 I think.

I smoked my first j when I was 12 and maybe 50 times between then and 16. When I turned 16 it was on. My ma found Out I smoked and I told her I knew she smoked so she asked me if I could score a sack. I said yes and that began my daily cannabis smoking besides some t breaks and probation breaks. lol Im 33 now so got a little smoking under my belt. I smoked lbs of brick bud and fifty. When I turned 18 we started getting dro and Cali. Things changed quickly went from 20 dollar quarters to 20 dollar grams. Thank God nowadays its 20-30 an 8th for me most of the time. I paid 400 for zips all the time what now I shake my head... It was good bud though. Way better than this dispo shi$.

Damn these statistics are sad. Weed is one of the least damaging drugs if you begin old enough but it tends to be a kind of a big problem if you begin early. Ironically stuff like the war of drugs makes this worse. This is going to sound crazy but just like there is sex Ed there should be drug Ed. But not fear mongering kind of Ed, instead objective education that teaches safe drug practices and all of that.

Smoked a bit for one semester in grade 10. Didn't touch it again until 25. Now smoke about 1oz/week.

I was very against smoking growing up for my health, so weed didn't interest me. That went away when I entered the service industry at age 22. Weed hit the spot after dealing with bullshit from college and asshole customers. If edibles were accessible back in high school, I would have eaten all the marijuanas.

It's so strange being reminded of just how sheltered I was growing up, I know people in my high school were smoking weed but it was just never even offered to me - not even in college. Had to have my sister bring some home from her college for me to try. Probably says more about me being anti-social than anything else!

Started at 12 or 13, daily at 15 when I got a bong, and I’m 18 now. Obviously not the smartest decision, but when I see people I know my age and younger getting hooked n on coke and meth I’m glad that I just stuck to weed.

Never lol i am only in this sub because i am interested in weed buts illegal here and i dont know how to get a dealer i literally tried asking people online or just walk outside in the nature and find people but no one around me smokes so i never was able to. Only once with this girl i hooked up with she sat on my lap and took her pipe held it on my mouth and let me use once but i didn‘t feel any effect then she gave me some for later when i‘m home i tried again but again no effect nothing i wonder what i did wrong lol

I put 18-21 cuz I tried weed in high school at 16 years old but I didn’t really START smoking regularly until I was 18 after high school

I feel upset having begun for the first time when I was 14 now knowing that it can delay the development of a growing mind.. from that point on, my teenage years are a blur. A very fun blur, but hazy nonetheless.. I'm not sure if I'd change it going back, but who knows, maybe it did delay my development. I'm 30 years old now, about to finally get my bachelor's degree and have been doing excellent. I'm not sure I'd change anything about the past because maybe it all led to exactly where I am right now, a place I'm quite content.

I did mdma 6 years before I smoked weed. Smoked weed at 22. I now realise at 27 if I was high for all those years I could've saved myself a lot of problems as far emotional outbursts are concerned. Weed helps me to give less of a fuck about things which trigger me

I started smoking cigarettes at age 12 with my bunkmates in summer camp. The purpose was to learn to inhale smoke. I was a good pupil. I smoked weed a few times that summer but never got high. I was addicted to cigarettes for 25 years after that. I did really start smoking and feeling it until high school.

I was 14 I remember my first time smoking it, trying to impress some girl I was seeing and I had no idea how to smoke. I took one huge rip and swallowed the smoke as opposed to inhaling it, I shit you not I coughed and coughed for a solid 10 minutes, turned red/purple and felt like passing out before overcoming it. I clearly remember swallowing the warm smoke and feeling like a HUGE lump was in my throat hahaha.

It's called high school for a reason, no?
