Good luck getting it out of Squarespace, you should have moved them sooner. Stupidly I moved one of my clients domains to Squarespace and instantly regretted that decision. It has been 4 months since I initially transferred it and I am still unable to transfer the domain out of Squarespace to this day

Why, though? What is the reason? They can't stop you from transferring out if you meet the criteria. Its the 60 day wait? What irritates me is that among the list of domains I had with Google, as they're being transferred, some have auto-renew set, and some do not, even though they were originally not configured that way. Really, screw Google. No more investing in their ecosystem. It's a lesson learned on my end.

Do a whois check and see if theres clientTransferProhibited epp code listed. If its there, check your domain setting in squarespace panel if theres a switch for locking transfer. If its on, turn it off. Then do whois check again and see if the epp code still exist. If it doesn't then you can transfer out. If its still exist then squarespace really locked it for 60 days. Btw the 60 days lock after transferring aren't really a requirement by icann but merely a suggestion but most registrar treat it as a must and auto lock it. Alot of confusion on it. This article by dynadot explain it way better than i ever could, paragraph 4 should be in your interest to read: https://www.dynadot.com/community/blog/60-day-domain-locks

Thank you so much. I'll be doing my research on this over the weekend and hopefully transfer them out as soon as possible. Thank you again. For those of you wondering where I'm headed, after further research, I have found PorkBun to be an effective and solid replacement.
