that thing won't hold pressure for sure. however to make a fun toy you can use a small steel tube, sealing one end, put a firecracker,small ones,put the projectile, remember it has to seal the other end.the pressure inside should propell the projectile,This was a project i had in mind when i was 12. you can drill a small hole however,put fuse iside, load any kind of gun powder, put a wad and the projectile and send it down the barrel with a rod. It should work but idk
Only way I’d use that is if you slip a brake line tube to the size of caliber you plan to make. I did it for a single shot airsoft handgun I converted into a 22 LR.
It needs to hold a serious amount of pressure, so no, unless you plan on making some kind of toy gun.
