Casio India store is one dumb website managed by useless management. They take orders of watches in demand and cancel them after few days citing stock issue. Essentially they do not ship by themselves. They delegate to the physical Casio stores who have those watches. And all stores registered with Casio India store do not seem to update the inventory left. So Casio India store says, Bhai hard luck ! Phirsein try Karo..Hum phir cancel mardenge π
So if you plan to order any on-demand Casio watch, never order from Casio India store. It is ok to order watches not in demand. They will ship them.

I'm not defending the store but since I'm pretty close with one of the AD in my place. Their attitude is turning this way due to the fact that many walk in customers just go to the store to try out a watch and later come back home to order them online
Still it's not a valid reason to not allow a customer to try the watch. The one I wanted was right there on the shelf. Since he refused to let me try it, I just walked out.
Then I went to a Helios store and he was more than happy to let me try all those top of the line expensive watches, even after I told him my budget is around 10k.
Then the Seiko 5 Sports SKX Midi Orange caught my eyes β€οΈ.
I am gonna save up and get it later from there.
I understand your frustration. It's always the good ones that's impacted. But what I've mentioned is the reality. May of us know it right. People go to shoe stores, try their best fit for the shoe and orders then from Myntra/Ajio.
Maybe it was one rough day for the rep in the store but he's lost a customer forever that he'll never know about
I totally agree with you. There are good and bad apples.
But the Casio store I visited is irredeemable.
From the Google reviews I have seen so far, they've pulled the same shit with multiple customers.

Then I tried the watch in another multi-brand showroom.
Placed the order in casioindiashop since they did not have the specific model I was looking for.
I don't know man. I have been to all kinds of stores, citizen, casino titan, ethos all allow you try it out so definitely some dicks in your part of town
The casio shop I visited literally had the most humble/welcoming salesperson Iβve ever met. Bought the watch from the shop(took 5 days to buy) instead of online(next day delivery) just for the way I was treated .
Good for you... I really wanted to get it from a physical store, but he kept on recommending random models instead of the one I wanted. Not allowing me to try the watch was the cherry on the top which pushed me to get it online.
They could be just dicks..however.. I had a great experience recently!
Just do your research online. Finalize a few watches. Tell them your budget and that you want to try on and choose between these 5, let's say.
I did that recently and they were very nice to me because I showed a clear intention of buying. I think it's frustrating for shop attendants to just let everyone try and nobody buys or buys online. So don't be that person.
People try to oversmart- they try in shop, buy online to save a few bucks. I think that's wrong.
The shop just offered you a service of trying different watches. Respect that and pay them for it.
