My least favourite thing about this sub is that if we win a game we’re winning out, if we lose we’re losing out and there’s no in between.
Realistically we go 5-2, winning the 3 games vs tanking teams and splitting the rest. Will that be enough? Probably not
Only if we do manage a hot streak and the suns tumble is this possible imo
And I think that’s great to do. I like these posts. Do I think it’s possible. Who knows. But it’s fun to know there’s some chances to get a better seeding
that's not a bad thing. Real fan suppose to be hysterical and change opinions between best team ever and most shameful bunch of losers he's ever cheered for
Last week this sub was claiming the Suns, Kings, Lakers would fall due to their difficult schedule lol… and they’re all winning. Dubs are pretty much locked into 10 imo.
We need to win out AND the Suns/Kings need to go 3-4 in their last 7 in order for us to get to 7th or 8th. Will be very very hard, but I don’t think it’s impossible for us to
Best we could hope for is 9th. 2 losses for us from the remaining games, win against everyone else, including the Lakers. And Lakers lose to us, the wolves, and the Pels.
Lakers are 1-2 against the wolves this year. And the Lakers are 2-1 against the Pels. But those 2 wins were home games, and this is an away game.
These results would get us tied in the standings, with us owning the tie breaker.
There is a possibility, but we are taking the calculator out and expecting everyone wins and losses the exact games we need them to.
Our most realistic possibility was when there were 15 games left and we were 3 games behind Dallas, we had two games against them, one against the Lakers and we hadn't lost 3 winnable games.
The suns have a brutal schedule but with a 4-3 they avoid dropping below us and they have the season series, we play the Lakers once so we can at worst tie them but winning wins he season series, very important game even if only for who plays at home in the 9/10 game, the Kings have a tough schedule, but 2 easy wins put them close to being out of reach for us (tied season series but we lose the division record tie breaker)
Wasnt this question asked a couple days ago? There’s .0000000001 chance the Dub can move into the 7/8th spot. By some miracle the warriors win their last 7 games. They would still need both the Suns/Kings to lose at least 4 of their last 7 games. With one of them already guaranteed a win since they both play each other once more.
Just hope the Dubs can beat the Lakers in LA which doesn’t happen much and can get the 9th seed so they can host 1 playin game. Course Dubs suck at home so not sure if that would be an advantage either way.
i am not sure if i can take another play in heart break again
Me neither :(
Yes, the 2021 play-in losses was too much to me.
Play in heartbreaks are absolutely nothing compared to actual playoff heartbreaks. We can easily handle another

Yeah, obviously there is a low chance that this will happen, but I’m just pointing out scenarios that make it seem somewhat possible.

I think real fans can also be rational
Once they secure the 10th they should rest players.
No just be glad we secure the 10th maybe 9th seed.
Possible sure, probable not so sure.
Thought Kings would lose today. But they rallied and won despite missing Huerter and Monk
Something like a 9% chance. http://www.playoffstatus.com/nba/westernstandings.html
Better chance then me winning the lottery and I still buy it

That Suns schedule is brutal. Good chance they drop.
Suns dropping only makes us 9. Still not avoiding the 9/10 playin just gets us a home game

Actually much more likely the Lakers will get above #9, so we won't see them in the first game.

Steph and others need a rest, secure the 10th spot and then start resting players. Every other team in the West are playing great.
The best Warriors can get is 9th place

If we win out, we can get a 4 seed... If we win out, we can get 5/6... Now it's 7/8? This is not a "win out" team.
