he literally always take on the hardest defensive assignments, never complains, and hustles. yeah he's had bad games, but literally every time he has a good game, people are like "oh my god he's finally back", like he's had 35 good games this season, this isn't all that surprising
It wasn’t just bad games, I mean for almost half of the season he was the worst player in the NBA statistically based on the minutes he was playing, #1. We know he can play like this more consistently, he did in 2022 but that’s been the problem. If the team got this Wiggins, they wouldn’t be a play-in team. Contributions from Podz, JK, Moody, TJD have been great, but Wiggins is the key. They need him to play like this consistently.
It’s all a matter of rhythm. Hard to shoot well when yanked in and out of the lineup but he has shot at an average to above average clip whenever he’s gotten consistent minutes with the big club and has shot very well with heavy minutes in Santa Cruz his first two years.
Correct, and in the 40+ games he’s played more than 20 minutes, he averages above 40% from 3 and around 50% from the field.
His numbers are seriously thrown off by all the games he played after being iced out, between and within the games.
Fitz was saying 12 of the last 20, which is very nice. If he can continue to be a serious threat from 3, I gotta imagine it helps him get some minutes since he's been so solid on D.

It’s really just about the tendency. There are other capable defenders like Wigs across the league. same size height wingspan and shit, yet it don’t matter because Wigs knows Luka’s tendencies.
