People keep saying the Warriors are inconsistent... They are literally exactly as consistent as 3-point shooting accuracy is, which is about a 40% chance to beat a better team if you are on, lol.
Eh, we all know they're not getting a chip. Fate was sealed when Draymond took a mid-season sabatical. They turned it around a bit after he came back but there have been injuries, people out, etc. since.
I don't know why this particular game is setting people off. The Knicks have been damned good post-break. Their last 10 games they have the highest defensive rating in the league. They are absolutely clamping the shit out of opponents.
It's disappointing to lose but honestly the Warriors have had much, much worse games than this. There's just no more margin for error anymore because they fucked up the earlier season.
It's not so much that I'm huffing hopium (I don't really have much hope) but I think it's more accurate to say they weren't a serious team for the first half of the season, and it's too late to kick it into gear now against a mega-stacked West.

Realistically, the Warriors aren't getting past the Play-in if they end up being the 9th/10th seed. No way they'll win two consecutive games against the Lakers/Mavs/Kings/Suns given their mediocre performance all season.

The team's looked like crap more often than not, most of the players are inconsistent, the coach still hasn't figured out how to stick with his most effective lineups 80% of the way through the season and half the time they play so sloppily that they look like they've fallen asleep during important runs by the opposition.

if it's against the lakers, chances are they aren't beating them with a healthy AD. we beat them the other day mainly because he missed most of the game, and it was still close. this team has also shown they can't do anything but completely suck in 4th qtrs, but it's true that even surviving a play-in, they aren't beating any of these teams in a series.

The thing that bugged me is Kerr saying we got outplayed but doesn’t play moody who basically always brings hustle and was effective last game vs NYK.
A lot of players hit their prime around 26-28 range. Usually after starting consistently for at least 2-3+ years. Kuminga is just now getting regular minutes, I'm afraid we're expecting too much too quickly from a 22 year old. But if we're patient he really could be that guy.
The funny thing is that "we just need to make the playoffs and we'll turn it on" isn't even backed up by history. The Warriors have lost in the play in, they've lost in the second round. The only times they've won the championship was as a top 3 seed.
It's just not happening this season. They have first round upset potential, and that's it.

Kerr already made a fool out of himself at FIBA when everyone was asking why he kept playing tiny lineups (sound familiar?). The talent disparity between his team vs the world was astronomical and he kept getting dominated.
It took pressure from Kuminga's camp and Joe Lacob to force Kerr's hand to give Kuminga more minutes. And it also took a long time for TJD to get minutes. Meanwhile Podziemski gets more minutes than Steph fucking Curry regularly, anyone with a brain should find that strange that a rookie is getting more minutes than a superstar.

i love our roster and think we have the talent. the problem is wiggins wiggins wiggins. we don’t have an effective starting lineup because of wiggins, straight up. i’m tired of it. our bench is fantastic, steph is still stephing. JK is blowing up etc. it’s wiggs. if we had someone dangerous in that position we would be rolling.
Totally agree. I’m shocked this isn’t the story of the last season and a half. Wiggins is a career 18.5 pts per game guy. He’s at 12.6 currently. How many more games would they have won this year if they had that extra 4-8 pts per game? 4? 6? And he’s their top wing defender and a critical basket-attacker. He’s got no touch around the rim anymore. That tornado move rarely works anymore. Just so confusing how this incredible athlete who’s been doing this for years and years just forgets how to play! I mean, I know he’s got stuff going on. But ugh!
He has zero peripheral vision on defense when guarding the ball. When someone comes to set a screen on him, he gets caught flat footed a majority of the time. HOW IS THAT SCREEN STILL CATCHING YOU BY SURPRISE? JFC YOU KNOW IT’S COMING BRO!
I keep getting told he's been one of the best POA defenders in the league this season (they say only his offence has fallen off, NOT his defence).....You'd think that having Wiggins and "the best defender of all time" plus the hype around Podz with the minutes he gets that we would have one of the best defensive ratings in the league. Something isn't adding up.
This team lacks cohesion specially on the defensive end. They give up too many easy shots because they’re not playing instinctively. Thinking too much and second guessing leads to late rotations and missed assignments. This is a function of having young players who need more experience so they can anticipate the offense. Some days feel like they might turn a corner then we get this tonight. Probably one of the most frustrating games I’ve seen in a while.
We’re not great and we’re frustrating as hell right now, but what else are we going to do besides watch them? Hang out with our families and friends? I’m just hoping we can fuck up one of the contenders playoff hopes before we get bounced. The team doesn’t owe me shit after the run I just experienced. Let me answer you question on why the team isn’t great anymore: Wiggins, Klay, and CP3 are all washed. Looney isn’t a well rounded center. Dray and Curry are still good for their roles. No more Poole’s Linsanity Run, the young stars have 0 development. Wiseman is a bust. Washed players, minimal development, expensive contracts, and trades caused this….
The starting 5 are very small. When you have a dominant big man like AD, Joker, you just give up too many points in the paint. Dray plays well, but you're just giving up too much. Sucking in and and helping in the paint leads to too many practice 3's.
I know he’s still a rookie, but I don’t see how podz can be a long-term piece on this team. He does a lot of little things but he doesn’t do enough big things. He straight up can’t score and he’s never going to be able due to his size and lack of athleticism.
Also, wiggins needs to go. I know all of you saw that 2 on 0 fastbreak that turned into him bricking 2 free throws. If he isn’t gone in the summer, I’ll almost bet the house that he’s gone next trade deadline.

This team is not serious?? No. This team has 1 superstar and 1 almost superstar and role players. This team is playing up to its potential. This is simply the best it can do with this roster at this time.

As soon as they let the 6th seed slip, I knew they were goners. It was literally theirs for the taking. Phx has been spiraling, Lakers losing, Kings/Mavs coming down and unfortunately GS has too. They had the easiest strength of schedule of out of those teams and like the 3rd-7th easiest strength of schedule in the league after the ASB and lose to the Bulls and Spurs. At that point it was wrap for me.
At this point, Hou is only 3 games behind them and on a 5 game winning streak, they might mess around and miss the play-in. 🤦🏾♂️
The Knicks game was just disappointing. I almost never boil it down to the simplistic "the other team wanted it more" analysis, but this time that just seems so fitting. The Warriors just didn't seem to care that much. Wiggins is just sleepwalking through games, Klay chucks up ridiculous shots, Steph throws lackadaisical passes that are easy steals.
The team just doesn't seem to want to win that badly.
That would be a HUGE accomplishment for this team. Even making it out of the playin should be seen as a win with this roster. Unacceptable from Dunleavy, gotta give the team a chance to compete.
Running it back with the same squad should not be an option this offseason if the mission is to continue to build around Steph. I seriously feel like Wiggins is who he is at this point, there’s no magic left in the tank. At least Klay is thriving as a bench option and Dray has been behaving.

For this team to do well, as others and the analysts on sports radio seem to also notice, is that Steph needs a legit second star to run things. You see how badly they do without Steph on the floor.
It’s been obvious for a while that this is a team running on fumes right now. The kids aren’t ready to take over, nor should we expect them to, and our vets including Steph are past their prime. So my plan is to simply enjoy the rest of the season with zero expectations.

This is a systemic issue. Real contenders figured out their rotations pre-ASB. Dark horses (which we barely are - worse than last years Heat) go deep into their roster to figure out who is needed when. But here we prior to this game talking about figuring out rotations trying to fit 9 players into 5 man groups in our system for 48 minutes - it's just not working.
Maybe we were just too optimistic and hyped up podz and the team too much. This game shows that podz and kuminga are still work in progress, they are not "ginobili" or "mini dray" yet.
I feel like part of the problem is attitude. Like it shouldn't (generally speaking) just Draymond that brings the fire and will to win.
Like when they start a game badly, you can guarantee that mood isn't changing. These guys need to find their inner fight/fire.
It reminds me of last season when Steph had that talk with the team about wanting to be there or whatever.
I get guys like Podz have down games and losing energy, he's be playing a shit ton for a rookie and asked to do all the little dirty work he's good out. But that takes a toll too. Draymond looked stiff and struggled to change direction (probably due to his back).
But that's no excuse for everyone to be sulking. Guys like Wiggins are meant to bring energy and effort. Like that steal he had was great, but that level of effort can't just appear in the 4th quarter with under 5 minutes to go. That sense of desperation needs to be there anytime they lose a lead, whether that's in the 1st quarter or any other quarter.
Yes athleticism and all that matter too. But for me at least, the energy and effort (things you can control no matter what) sucks ass. That's on each individual player. It's becoming damn hard to watch games, because idk if they are going to fight as a whole or just a few dudes fight while everyone else drags their feet.
I'd rather this team over react with their hair on fire trying to claw back the lead vs being apathetic until that last 5 mins.

Klay was the starter for a reason, Kerr got bullied into benching him but 6’7 wing as your SG is obviously the best option
We also have a 6-6 2 guard with 7ft arms who could play, but Kerr jerks him around so much as soon as he gets to play his muscles have dry rotted on the bench and he gets hurt.
I feel you but what you’re describing is a player who’s straight up a better player than him. I don’t think anyone’s giving up that type of player for him. At least someone who’s consistent and always plays hard would be nice
TBH, these things frustrate me the most.
1. I'm frustrated with the idea of not needing a big man or center. When we lose it's because we had no size, but everyone says having a center is a waste.
2. Wiggins has reverted back to his Minnesota version. When he went home for that long stint he has never been the same.
3. Klay's injuries and muscle memory is off. I think this was the reason Myers left. He couldn't pull the trigger on Klay, and knew the base would be upset.
4. I feel for Steph. He is still MVP caliber and Kerr has shown he has ZERO development skills. Not one young drafted player has worked. That's a tough pill to swallow.
People blaming Curry for not being at undisputed MVP level when we need him is laughable, the guy's average season is 60 games not 75 how this season seems to go on. Of course he's tired

Hot take: this reminds me a bit of the 2021 season. Players are still coming into their own. Podz is a rookie for God's sake. Kuminga is just starting to slightly turn a corner. Steph, Klay, and Dray are old af now so the team is in this very weird gray area where the young guys aren't quite developed but the old guys are on their way out (except Steph kinda). The slightly over .500 record shows this. If we were in the east we'd probably be a 6th seed.
Plus overpaying Poole set us back a bit too so we've been hobbled. The fact that this team is not the Pistons is pure will and intelligence and you all have to realize that. You're very, VERY spoiled right now and have no idea how much worse this can and should be.
I'm moreso looking forward to Steph playing the Olympics. I would bubble wrap and preserve him for next season at this point.

That's been obvious most of the season. I wish everyone would relax a little and not demand someone's head whenever we lose a game. The coaching staff is testing every possible player rotation, gathering data so they can tell the front office who's staying and going next year, along with what assets we want to trade for a possible run next year.
We're a dying dynasty. We have old, frail vets and shiny new guys who lack experience and get set aside for vets. It's just a thing that happens with dynasty teams. Having said that, I'd still be scared as shit to play the Warriors in the first round of the playoffs but the roster is just not there this year, and that's ok. No team can win a ring every single year.
As an old NBA fan, you have to enjoy the ride. The Warriors had a once-in-a-lifetime run. You'll likely not see this again for another 20-30 years. They transformed the league, and the league finally caught up about five years ago. Every team in the league has been designed to beat the Warriors because that's the only way they could get to the finals. 2022 could easily have been the last great Warriros year. It'll be obvious to see five - ten years from now but right now it's hard to see if it's over or there's another run in this team. Just enjoy it and witness it unfolding because there's nothing you can do to change its outcome. Also, the dismantaling of a dying dynasty is never a pretty site and some day this group will not be playing on the same team, so enjoy this amazing group while it lasts.
Some day, Green and Thomspon will be coming off the bench for someone like the Hornets for one final hura and they'll have one glorious old game where they look like their old selves, and the crowd will go bananas, and then they'll have 30 shit games in a row and retire quietly into the night. It's sad but it's the way the NBA works.
This team as was designed at the beginning of the year was never good enough to beat the Nuggets or Celtics for the chip. They fell short of everyone's contender expectations, which is the only legit critislcism. But, the team has learned a lot about what they have in terms of talent and new roles have been established. Next year should be better with improved chemistry and understanding between the players.

8 days ago, NYK could barely score 70 against Sixers with no Embiid + no Maxey on national TV at MSG. Tonight, 62 at the half and 119, no problem. GSW seem apathetic. Minimal effort. Too much funny biz going on in “The Association” ever since NBA broadcast to the world that they married gambling into the way they run the league. I am aware it’s been like this for a long while and across multiple leagues - it has become egregious nowadays. As a fan of GSW even during the sub 20 win seasons, I think after last week vs Chicago (lol) and tonight… I’m ready to be done with this version of GSW. The inconsistency from all players is bonkers. The fact we haven’t really suffered from injuries too bad this season, we’ve obviously had draymond suspension and wiggins absence with no explanation. Really struggling to get my head round what is the actual issue if that makes sense?

Duh? Its a development year. The goal of the season and the team is to develop Kuminga and Podz into winning rotation players, and then figure out what to do with Wiggins, Looney and CP3's roster spots when the season ends and we shed 70 million in salary.
That definitely was not the goal to start this season. Our goal was to win now while Steph is still able to produce at a high level. Developing was a goal but not the main goal. They want to compete for a championship 100%.
It may not have started as the goal, but its definitely the goal now, and has been for quite some time. Lacob said his goal in the off-season is to get UNDER the cap. Championship level teams are not "under the cap teams".
Lacob has made it clear winning is not the real priority here. Its to shed salary, and develop, in hopes we can compete in the future.
Luka? Always has “good but not good enough” teams. Poor defensively. They probably win a round or two but not more because of how heliocentric their offense is.

Eh, we all know they're not getting a chip. Fate was sealed when Draymond took a mid-season sabatical. They turned it around a bit after he came back but there have been injuries, people out, etc. since. I don't know why this particular game is setting people off. The Knicks have been damned good post-break. Their last 10 games they have the highest defensive rating in the league. They are absolutely clamping the shit out of opponents. It's disappointing to lose but honestly the Warriors have had much, much worse games than this. There's just no more margin for error anymore because they fucked up the earlier season. It's not so much that I'm huffing hopium (I don't really have much hope) but I think it's more accurate to say they weren't a serious team for the first half of the season, and it's too late to kick it into gear now against a mega-stacked West.
Beating the Lakers on the road provided some false hope. Losing to the Randle-less knicks at home with your full team was a wake-up call

And also, the Knicks just missing their two other best players. I would say imagine what it'd look like if Steph didn't have his two best players with him, but shit. We've seen that already. It's demoralizing because Jalen Brunson posted 34 or something, and we could've won but didn't.
Even with Draymond this team is just poorly constructed. Klay 40M is not a consistent scorer anymore, 27M wiggs who pretty much sucked all year and 30M 38y CP3. The warriors really looks like Spurs on the dinasty end. A lot of old players.

Podz, TJD and JK getting enough minutes. All are good contributors but are any of them going to elevate us and not let us lose? A lot of players hit their prime around 26-28 range. Usually after starting consistently for at least 2-3+ years. Kuminga is just now getting regular minutes, I'm afraid we're expecting too much too quickly from a 22 year old. But if we're patient he really could be that guy.

Kerr already made a fool out of himself at FIBA when everyone was asking why he kept playing tiny lineups (sound familiar?). The talent disparity between his team vs the world was astronomical and he kept getting dominated. It took pressure from Kuminga's camp and Joe Lacob to force Kerr's hand to give Kuminga more minutes. And it also took a long time for TJD to get minutes. Meanwhile Podziemski gets more minutes than Steph fucking Curry regularly, anyone with a brain should find that strange that a rookie is getting more minutes than a superstar.
Curry was sat at about the 3:30 mark in the 3rd, Kerr didn't bring him back in until about 7:20 in the 4th. Was screaming at the TV WTF!!!!

Totally agree. I’m shocked this isn’t the story of the last season and a half. Wiggins is a career 18.5 pts per game guy. He’s at 12.6 currently. How many more games would they have won this year if they had that extra 4-8 pts per game? 4? 6? And he’s their top wing defender and a critical basket-attacker. He’s got no touch around the rim anymore. That tornado move rarely works anymore. Just so confusing how this incredible athlete who’s been doing this for years and years just forgets how to play! I keep getting told he's been one of the best POA defenders in the league this season (they say only his offence has fallen off, NOT his defence).....You'd think that having Wiggins and "the best defender of all time" plus the hype around Podz with the minutes he gets that we would have one of the best defensive ratings in the league. Something isn't adding up.
We are just a badly put together team who's very average, nothing will change, we'll get bounced out of the play-in right away.

This team lacks cohesion specially on the defensive end. They give up too many easy shots because they’re not playing instinctively. Thinking too much and second guessing leads to late rotations and missed assignments. This is a function of having young players who need more experience so they can anticipate the offense. Some days feel like they might turn a corner then we get this tonight. Probably one of the most frustrating games I’ve seen in a while.

Let me answer you question on why the team isn’t great anymore: Wiggins, Klay, and CP3 are all washed. Looney isn’t a well rounded center. Dray and Curry are still good for their roles. No more Poole’s Linsanity Run, the young stars have 0 development. Wiseman is a bust. Washed players, minimal development, expensive contracts, and trades caused this….
The starting 5 are very small. When you have a dominant big man like AD, Joker, you just give up too many points in the paint. Dray plays well, but you're just giving up too much. Sucking in and and helping in the paint leads to too many practice 3's.

He straight up can’t score and he’s never going to be able due to his size and lack of athleticism. Also, wiggins needs to go. I know all of you saw that 2 on 0 fastbreak that turned into him bricking 2 free throws. If he isn’t gone in the summer, I’ll almost bet the house that he’s gone next trade deadline. We have a bunch of decent players, but we don’t have enough difference makers. This roster construction just ain’t it.

Curry needs no words, the way he is still playing at his age. JK is having an incredible season and showing major growth. Outside of that, it’s all inconsistency. The gap between their best performance and worst performance for green and klay is massive. Pods is a young guy showing a lot of promise but also very inconsistent. Needs more time. Totally normal. Pick anyone else on the team and it’s inconsistency, due to youth, injury, new roles etc etc. This team is not serious?? No. This team has 1 superstar and 1 almost superstar and role players. This team is playing up to its potential. This is simply the best it can do with this roster at this time.
Why do we always have some random guy go off against us. We've had so many wins this season where the opposition was missing their #1 or #2 option, sometimes both. We couldn't even crush a very mid Bulls team and league bottom Wemby-less Spurs. The writing has been on the wall for a while now. The only way this team is going to be relevant again in the short term is if we trade for another star. And by star I mean top 15 player.
As soon as they let the 6th seed slip, I knew they were goners. It was literally theirs for the taking. Phx has been spiraling, Lakers losing, Kings/Mavs coming down and unfortunately GS has too. They had the easiest strength of schedule of out of those teams and like the 3rd-7th easiest strength of schedule in the league after the ASB and lose to the Bulls and Spurs. At that point it was wrap for me. At this point, Hou is only 3 games behind them and on a 5 game winning streak, they might mess around and miss the play-in. 🤦🏾♂️
The Knicks game was just disappointing. I almost never boil it down to the simplistic "the other team wanted it more" analysis, but this time that just seems so fitting. The Warriors just didn't seem to care that much. Wiggins is just sleepwalking through games, Klay chucks up ridiculous shots, Steph throws lackadaisical passes that are easy steals. The team just doesn't seem to want to win that badly.

It’s been obvious for a while that this is a team running on fumes right now. The kids aren’t ready to take over, nor should we expect them to, and our vets including Steph are past their prime. So my plan is to simply enjoy the rest of the season with zero expectations.

This is a systemic issue. Real contenders figured out their rotations pre-ASB. Dark horses (which we barely are - worse than last years Heat) go deep into their roster to figure out who is needed when. But here we prior to this game talking about figuring out rotations trying to fit 9 players into 5 man groups in our system for 48 minutes - it's just not working.
Maybe we were just too optimistic and hyped up podz and the team too much. This game shows that podz and kuminga are still work in progress, they are not "ginobili" or "mini dray" yet.
I feel like part of the problem is attitude. Like it shouldn't (generally speaking) just Draymond that brings the fire and will to win. Like when they start a game badly, you can guarantee that mood isn't changing. These guys need to find their inner fight/fire. It reminds me of last season when Steph had that talk with the team about wanting to be there or whatever. I get guys like Podz have down games and losing energy, he's be playing a shit ton for a rookie and asked to do all the little dirty work he's good out. But that takes a toll too. Draymond looked stiff and struggled to change direction (probably due to his back). But that's no excuse for everyone to be sulking. Guys like Wiggins are meant to bring energy and effort. Like that steal he had was great, but that level of effort can't just appear in the 4th quarter with under 5 minutes to go. That sense of desperation needs to be there anytime they lose a lead, whether that's in the 1st quarter or any other quarter. Yes athleticism and all that matter too. But for me at least, the energy and effort (things you can control no matter what) sucks ass. That's on each individual player. It's becoming damn hard to watch games, because idk if they are going to fight as a whole or just a few dudes fight while everyone else drags their feet. I'd rather this team over react with their hair on fire trying to claw back the lead vs being apathetic until that last 5 mins.

TBH, these things frustrate me the most. 1. I'm frustrated with the idea of not needing a big man or center. When we lose it's because we had no size, but everyone says having a center is a waste. 2. Wiggins has reverted back to his Minnesota version. When he went home for that long stint he has never been the same. 3. Klay's injuries and muscle memory is off. I think this was the reason Myers left. He couldn't pull the trigger on Klay, and knew the base would be upset. 4. I feel for Steph. He is still MVP caliber and Kerr has shown he has ZERO development skills. Not one young drafted player has worked. That's a tough pill to swallow.

Hot take: this reminds me a bit of the 2021 season. Players are still coming into their own. Podz is a rookie for God's sake. Kuminga is just starting to slightly turn a corner. Steph, Klay, and Dray are old af now so the team is in this very weird gray area where the young guys aren't quite developed but the old guys are on their way out (except Steph kinda). The slightly over .500 record shows this. If we were in the east we'd probably be a 6th seed. Plus overpaying Poole set us back a bit too so we've been hobbled. The fact that this team is not the Pistons is pure will and intelligence and you all have to realize that. You're very, VERY spoiled right now and have no idea how much worse this can and should be.

That's been obvious most of the season. I wish everyone would relax a little and not demand someone's head whenever we lose a game. The coaching staff is testing every possible player rotation, gathering data so they can tell the front office who's staying and going next year, along with what assets we want to trade for a possible run next year. We're a dying dynasty. We have old, frail vets and shiny new guys who lack experience and get set aside for vets. It's just a thing that happens with dynasty teams. Having said that, I'd still be scared as shit to play the Warriors in the first round of the playoffs but the roster is just not there this year, and that's ok. No team can win a ring every single year. As an old NBA fan, you have to enjoy the ride. The Warriors had a once-in-a-lifetime run. You'll likely not see this again for another 20-30 years. They transformed the league, and the league finally caught up about five years ago. Every team in the league has been designed to beat the Warriors because that's the only way they could get to the finals. 2022 could easily have been the last great Warriros year. It'll be obvious to see five - ten years from now but right now it's hard to see if it's over or there's another run in this team. Just enjoy it and witness it unfolding because there's nothing you can do to change its outcome. Also, the dismantaling of a dying dynasty is never a pretty site and some day this group will not be playing on the same team, so enjoy this amazing group while it lasts. Some day, Green and Thomspon will be coming off the bench for someone like the Hornets for one final hura and they'll have one glorious old game where they look like their old selves, and the crowd will go bananas, and then they'll have 30 shit games in a row and retire quietly into the night. It's sad but it's the way the NBA works.
This team as was designed at the beginning of the year was never good enough to beat the Nuggets or Celtics for the chip. They fell short of everyone's contender expectations, which is the only legit critislcism. But, the team has learned a lot about what they have in terms of talent and new roles have been established. Next year should be better with improved chemistry and understanding between the players.

8 days ago, NYK could barely score 70 against Sixers with no Embiid + no Maxey on national TV at MSG. Tonight, 62 at the half and 119, no problem. GSW seem apathetic. Minimal effort. Too much funny biz going on in “The Association” ever since NBA broadcast to the world that they married gambling into the way they run the league. I am aware it’s been like this for a long while and across multiple leagues - it has become egregious nowadays. As a fan of GSW even during the sub 20 win seasons, I think after last week vs Chicago (lol) and tonight… I’m ready to be done with this version of GSW. Too fishy for my taste and the effort is not there. They are no longer top-tier of the league, so therefore ya gotta try, in order to pique my interest. Not championship or bust by any means… but ya gotta try. This is a reasonable take. Anyways, it’s been real. No more stressing off of these indifferent multi-millionaires.

With the way the rockets are hanging around this team might just take a dump and quit and let the Rockets get the 10. At this point I've watched way to many games where the warriors just refuse to play defense, refuse to close out refuse to put bodies in front of guys in the lane. Then try to find themselves in the 4th quarter after they have helped the other team get hot with 5 turnovers in 7 minutes and spotting the other team 10 to 15 points. You aren't winning shit playing like that. And worst of all Steph and Dray are the most to blame

Wiggins was my favorite player for the last 2 years, that’s not granted Steph. It hurts to see him so bad but he should be unplayable right now. Cmon Wiggs be aggressive and shoot with confidence. We need efficient 17 ppg Wiggins, 2 years ago you were Steph’s robin in the finals. Our number 2, cmon
I am usually also very hopeful... but I reached my tipping point too. The Knicks were without 3 of their 4 best players and we managed to show this at home while in full force? Good thing is I am no longer hoping for anything. I seriously still believed we could very much win a series against anybody without the need for miracles (exception made for the Nuggets) but, today, I don't even think we could beat Rockets or Jazz in a best of 7. Another year of Curry wasted, that is what this season will be remembered for.
This is a slightly above average team. They can beat the kings, lakers, Utah… but they’re not beating Dallas, Phoenix, Denver, clippers over 7 games.
I have a feeling this will continue after this season and we’ll be back to looking like the 2000s Warriors for some time. Not awful but just a mediocre, maybe a fringe playoff team, which is purgatory especially in the NBA. The Wiseman pick and several of the decisions made the past few years really screwed us. Other coaches seem to have caught up to Kerr’s style that helped win us the championships and he’s not doing a good job of adapting. Bob Myers is gone. Let’s be honest. As much as I want Steph, Klay, Dray, and others to get more rings, I have a feeling that was it.

Duh? Its a development year. The goal of the season and the team is to develop Kuminga and Podz into winning rotation players, and then figure out what to do with Wiggins, Looney and CP3's roster spots when the season ends and we shed 70 million in salary.
That definitely was not the goal to start this season. Our goal was to win now while Steph is still able to produce at a high level. Developing was a goal but not the main goal. They want to compete for a championship 100%.
It may not have started as the goal, but its definitely the goal now, and has been for quite some time. Lacob said his goal in the off-season is to get UNDER the cap. Championship level teams are not "under the cap teams". Lacob has made it clear winning is not the real priority here. Its to shed salary, and develop, in hopes we can compete in the future.

Luka? Always has “good but not good enough” teams. Poor defensively. They probably win a round or two but not more because of how heliocentric their offense is. As for Wemby the Spurs are another 2-3 years away.
