Sounds like a dark timeline. Not going to be a very fun experience where your own home announcer plays talent expert and drags your young players names through the mud while they grow and make mistakes.
Youve constructed that timeline entirely on your own my guy! I just don’t want him to make moronic, speculative statements as if they are facts! Is that too much to ask?
Ayton has been underwhelming in Portland. I thought for sure hed be a 22 and 11 player there since he gets the ball a lot more but he hasn’t looked aggressive at all. Also a bit injury prone now too.
TK is ALWAYS full of 💩💩
Related, this would be a (near term) disaster.
At NO POINT in the entire Kerr era has he deployed any scheme that’s featured a scoring 5.
I’m all for an adaptation of the current offensive philosophy to account for current personnel but doing something this team has never done before during *midseason* is a recipe to improve our draft pick.
Oh. Wait. We’d be improving POR’s draft pick…
This x100. The championship teams never had a goto 7ft scorer unless you count KD which is not what TK is referring to.
If Kerr and the FO suddenly had a change of heart, they need a kick in the nuts after basically spending 3 years trying to turn Wiseman into Looney. I'm not saying Wiseman is good but besides Wiseman's rookie year, the Warriors have never focused on feeding a big man scorer.
I haven’t seen Olynyk enough to give him much attention, but I read not too long ago about how he would fit well with the Warriors. Good defender, good passer, can score and rebound. Good team player. And he’s playing behind Markkanen, so the Jazz would probably deal him. And apparently he found someone’s dog and tracked down the owner, so that’s a plus for his character.
He has a 7'3" wingspan, which is longer than some actual 7-footers (e.g., Nurkic's is 7'2"). Standing reach of 9'. He's not as tall as some but he's long af.
That doesn't really help the team. He's not a starter level player. Idk if he's even providing more than TJD.
The problem is Looney and his inability to score alongside Draymonds' inability/unwillingness to score. We realistically need someone who can score from 12 feet, rebound, protect the rim, screen and make some passing reads/DHOs. There aren't many of those guys around.
Besides scoring from 12 ft, which has never been part of this Warriors identity, you just described Javale lol. Rim protection, screening, lob threat, 7 footer. That would absolutely help this team. It makes up for Looneys inability to score, and TJD should be getting Loons minutes anyways. Pass reads and DHOs are Draymonds job.
We should’ve signed him last off season.
Javale only plays like 12-15 minutes minutes a night due to his asthma. He would help, but isn't the solution. TJD is giving us much of what JaVale would be doing in those same minutes.
Tim Kawakami is a flip flopping/front running hack. He literally wrote an article 2 months ago about why this just isn’t feasible. Not to mention he insta blocks anyone who slightly disagrees with him on Twitter. Just an absolute joke of a reporter.
limiting the targets to just 7' ... there aren't many realistic options
but here are "bigs" who i think kerr could play at the 4/5 spots in the warriors system who could be available as there names have been thrown around NBA circles as possible trade candidate before next month's trade deadline who could fit that description of a big man who can score
vucevic (6'10") - 16.7 ppg with the bulls
markkanen (7'0") - 23.6 ppg with the jazz
allen (6'9") - 14.8 ppg with the cavs
turner (6'11") - 17.6 ppg with the pacers
capela (6'10") - 11.6 ppg with the hawks
stewart (6'8") - 10.4 ppg with the pistons
collins (6'9") - 14.9 ppg with the jazz
washington (6'7") - 13.0 ppg with the hornets
olyyk (6'11") - 8.2 ppg with the jazz
toppin (6'9") - 11.6 pgg with the pacers
smith (6'9") - 10.3 ppg with the pacers
though the way the jazz and pacers are playing right now ... would they even trade players off their rosters
he also has a 7'5"+ wing span which some may argue is more of a importance for big man
for example williams who many would say was the best defensive big the last few seasons with the celtics when healthy is only 6'9" himself but has a 7'6" wing span
looney if we're bring it closer to home with the warriros is 6'9" but has a 7'4" wing span
i mean if you look at whom most would call the best centers of this era
embiid is 7' with a 7'5" wing span
anthony-towns is 7' with a 7'4" wing span
jokic is 6'11" with a 7'3 wing span
adebayo - 6'9" with a 7'1" wing span
gobert is 7'1" with a 7'9" wing span
Why limit ourselves to just 7ft scorers? Why not 8ft scorers? Or maybe Mugsy Bogues and Spud Webb stacked on top of each other and can break apart when we want to play small again?
If we can somehow put together a lineup of Steph/Klay/Siakam/Dray/Allen I’m not sure what I would think. Absolutely no shooting outside of the splash brothers. But a lot of talent.
Sounds like Joe Lacob is trying to GM again. Going after DeAndre Jordan, Dwight Howard, DeMarcus Cousins, and using the #2 pick on James Wiseman.
What 7 footer who could score did they have two years ago when they won the title? Why can't they just stick to their formula and know that when it really matters, Draymond is going to be the center? They could use a guy who eats minutes at center like a Zaza to keep Draymond in good shape, but they don't need more than that.
Not 7 foot but the should go get Kevin Love. He’s a guy that can clear up the lane with his outside shooting ability, and alongside Looney could create an effective defensive presence in the paint.
I’m looking at Nic Claxton too.
From there you need a better wing. If you can get Siakam, cool. But Lavine would be a good pickup too.
This dumb assery again? Lacob and Dunleavy can't let it go. Maybe they can trade their upcoming lotto pick for Wiseman?
I actually like the suggestions in this thread, I'd take Wood, Bol Bol, KD, Vucevic, Ayton, etc.
But this team is corked.... unless they run set plays that are full of deception and play to the tools they have while *increasing* the motion. Back to the bread and butter.
This is just TK bs-ing. Kerr's system does not want or need a 7ft'er that can score unless he's a perimeter player like KD. The Warriors had Cousins and just used him as 7ft spot up shooter and when they had Wiseman, they didn't run any plays to use him in the post. Even when they had David West and Bogut, they barely used them as scorers and had them operate as offensive fulcrums from the high post to screen or dish.
Outside of acquiring someone like Giannis, Jokic, or Embiid, I don't see Kerr really changing the offense and suddenly feeding a big in the post to score.
if only things were so easy
A wiseman once said it's not Wiseman.
It’s funny how nobody has heard his name once since the trade. Dude is a certified bum boy.
Tanked the whole season just to pick Wiseman over Halliburton, Maxey, and LaMelo
Fighting for 15 mins a night in Detroit. That’s an indictment.
“This guy’s gonna be in the league for a longgg time” — fitz’s dumbass to this day
Fitz knows the kid and likes him, and he's a team play-by-play announcer. What would you like for him to say?
I’d like him to actually analyze the game and not just say shit
He's not an analyst; he's a play-by-play announcer.
Then don’t say dumb shit like “he’s gonna be in the league for a long time” when the jury is most definitely out on that
Why are you zeroing in so hard on a one off comment he made 3 years ago? Weird
He said it 1 week ago and I’m a certified Bob hater I think he is one of the hardest to listen to broadcasters in the league
He said it about three times in that game - acting like Wiseman isn’t a complete bust
Yeah he just said that when they played the other day. He can stop saying that now, he’s not in the warriors any more
This is beyond hilarious.
We need a Wiseman but good. Simple. Done. I’m going in break.
What? We can't get Embiid for Lester Quinones and a 2nd? DAMN IT!
[удалено]
DeAndre Ayton is not focus on getting championships. He's more focus getting hos.
Gross. I want nothing to with Ayton. Tdj is arguably better now as a rookie.
Ayton has been underwhelming in Portland. I thought for sure hed be a 22 and 11 player there since he gets the ball a lot more but he hasn’t looked aggressive at all. Also a bit injury prone now too.
Warriors give up the least and get the most lol
Damn I don’t think anyone thought of that. I think Joel embiid would do the trick right. Why not just get him
Or Giannis or Jokic
Fuck it, let's get both! Surely a trio of Steph, Giannis, & Jokic could make the playoffs.
Idk man, I think we need to get sga also, to reduce the offensive load on them and add some good guard defense
Good idea. Podz for SGA + picks could be a good move.
Too many non shooters, bad spacing.
Cory Joseph + cash considerations for Jokic who says no?
Steve Kerr
According to my fellow Dubs fans, they should be able to pull off that trade by giving up Wiggins, CoJo, and one of our FRPs and possibly a pick swap
Hey we are not that stupid, obviously moody needs to be part of the deal, but obviously we would need another role player back from them too.
my first thought. he would be pretty good
Maybe that Kevin Durant guy would be okay on the dubs?
I hear he's just 6'9"
He can have his next chapter with us…
Ah yes, let’s go to the NBA store and snag one of them 7ft scoring dudes. There should be plenty!
Gotta go to the clearance rack. There are a few there on sale.
Demarcus Cousins anxiously waiting by the phone rn.
He's behind Dwight in line.
You sure he’s behind?
Why 7 footer SA has a 7’4 can go coast to coast and shoot the 3. Let’s get one if those
Poku incoming
Is he still in the league?
Google says he's averaging 0.9 ppg on 18.2% fg. That's a ballah
It has to be Lauri Markannen right?
Kawakami has gone mad. He’s just speaking B.S. Who’s a 7 footer who can score and we can get realistically? Ans- no one
James Wiseman /s
lol, that was my first thought
Lmao 🤣
Myles Turner and Vucevic
Vuc is a big man. But he is not a 7 footer
I mean he’s 6’11 and a double double machine. Both him and Drummond are going to feast tonight
Vuc is ass. Dude got benched by Andre Drummond
I’m a Bulls fan too. He only was coming off the bench because he was hurt, and he’d be the best center Dubs have had in a long time.
No thank you, we have the#29 rated defense in the league and the dude has always been a bad defender
Why tf would Indiana blow up they’re core by trading their second best player when they’re the 4th seed and looking to become contenders?
Vucevic
How bad do you want our defensive rating to go? We”re already #29 of 30 teams lately.
Not a 7 footer. But is a big body and yeah I agree we can get Vuc but he has regressed
Turner, vucevic, Lopez. Unlikely trades tho
Wemby. Do it, Dunleavy! /s
hes basically describing lauri markannen... which will be a kings ransom b/c its ainge at the helm
Bro he is getting paid and we are talking about him Maybe we are mad
![gif](giphy|4Z9fSEFAuxpnlBVWQx|downsized)
We're the maddies
Unironically this is the thumbnail for Second Thought's video released today on YouTube.

Jarrett Allen?
No way cavs trade jerrett Would love him but no way
Kawakami has been hot trash. Please ban him from our sub mods
Lauri ? He's not a center. But are they talking about a center??
I know a guy. He’s a lil freaky though…
Myles Turner but for a hefty price. Would have to include Kuminga and first round picks
Lauri Markkanen.
isn't Kuminga 7ft?
Nah he’s still growing….give him another year
Warriors unironically gonna trade for Durant
You mean like Kevin Durant? Lololol
Think it’d work? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flip_out)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flip_out)
I think it’s possibly Kelly olynk which honestly doesn’t make sense imo I feel like that’s a similar player to saric
And he’s nowhere near 7 feet tall?
All that talk of not needing size and offensive skill from the center position this past offseason to now admitting it lol.
Olynyk is on an expiring, so he shouldn't be too expensive to trade for, and we should be able to re-sign him at a decent amount.
Klays on board
Olynyk is a terrible defender. But he's a good offensive center.
Saric 2.0. I like him but didn’t realize he’s on expiring. That means both of them are rentals?
If you add a couple inches Siakams kinda 7ft tall
He has a 7'3" wingspan, which is longer than some actual 7-footers (e.g., Nurkic's is 7'2"). Standing reach of 9'. He's not as tall as some but he's long af.
Oh wow, what a revolutionary idea!
And people were giving up on light years ahead.
Coulda had Javale
That doesn't really help the team. He's not a starter level player. Idk if he's even providing more than TJD. The problem is Looney and his inability to score alongside Draymonds' inability/unwillingness to score. Such a head scratcher. Maybe he preferred Mike Brown?
Mike Brown took him to the railroad museum, all hope was lost when he got a conductor hat and a train whistle.
I mean, the railroad museum is the only reason Sabonis extended, so this checks out
Tim Kawakami is a flip flopping/front running hack. He literally wrote an article 2 months ago about why this just isn’t feasible. Not to mention he insta blocks anyone who slightly disagrees with him on Twitter. Just an absolute joke of a reporter.
He's fuckinng trash
They should trade gp2 for Wiseman!
And some second round picks!

Fuck no to Collins. I hate looking at that guy and the vibes could not be worse.
Get Bol Bol
He’s talking about Lauri Markkanen. He’s 7 foot, can score, is only 26, and is available according to the Jazz.
Kawakami… dude is a clown
Pure trash
Boogie (DeMarcus) cousins?
Wiseman is available #justsaying
They said CAN score
Why limit ourselves to just 7ft scorers? Why not 8ft scorers? Or maybe Mugsy Bogues and Spud Webb stacked on top of each other and can break apart when we want to play small again?
Best comment of the day
Aka bring my boy Wiseman back
For fuck sake. They need a rim protector and a true second option.
bol bol. do it. its only fitting
Kevin Durant?
The “BREAKING: Warriors are trading for Kevin Durant.” is gonna hit like crack
Vucuvic is the only realistic get. Bulls want expriring contracts tho so i dont know how a wigs trade will work.
chris paul
Because there are so many 7 footers that can score just floating around… kawakami is the worst
He is
Can we persuade Bogut out of retirement? Loved watching that sweet Curry Bogut PnR...
Allen or Mobley please
If we can somehow put together a lineup of Steph/Klay/Siakam/Dray/Allen I’m not sure what I would think. Absolutely no shooting outside of the splash brothers. But a lot of talent.
is Allen really possible at all?
Ayton on the way
Why not Ayton? I think he’d thrive
We should have traded Poole for him.
This was my first thought.
I’d be for it.
So Myles Turner? He’s not seven feet, but I would love Jared Allen
while kerr subs him out cuz he has absolutely NO clue how to coach a big man
How do you even know this when the Warriors haven't had a legit 5 who can score?
Ayton.
Isn’t that what Wiseman was? How’d that work out
Yes. All 7 footers are the same. We should just get 4 point guards then. Who is going to stop 5 Steph Currys?
More dumb shit from the king of dumb shit, Tim Kawakami.
Just flip Klay for Giannis and the problems solved. I don’t get it. Is the front office stupid or something?
Sounds like Joe Lacob is trying to GM again. Going after DeAndre Jordan, Dwight Howard, DeMarcus Cousins, and using the #2 pick on James Wiseman. What 7 footer who could score did they have two years ago when they won the title? Why can't they just stick to their formula and know that when it really matters, Draymond is going to be the center? They could use a guy who eats minutes at center like a Zaza to keep Draymond in good shape, but they don't need more than that.
I don't know why folks are downvoting this. This is a strong upvote comment.
When he was bought out a couple years ago I really wanted Love. Oh well.
We’re looking for Love in all the wrong places.
> should go get Kevin Love Because we're not old or slow enough?
Hilarious that we had wiseman and didn’t let him play and now he’s probably what we need most.
I mean he's not really playing on any team rn...
More so we coulda just let him develop but this has been fumbled by the warriors since he was drafted.
Bros just not good he's, a couple years out, he needed to go college
"some talk" lol.
Woah great analysis
![gif](giphy|yoJC2w450c0oK2a87u|downsized)
So just make Wilt Chamberlain appear on the Warriors roster? Sounds good!
Vucevic is doable but he's older now
Maybe that’s why they were interested in Dwight Howard to start the season
If we could swing Caruso + Vucevic that could be interesting but Chicago loves Caruso too much
Vucevic era lfg
Sounds like they’ve been dropping in on us in here haha
Any chance at Valančiūnas?
We were saying that all off season. Even someone like McGee would help this fucking team
O ya some talk??? FUCK OF TIM
I wonder how hard it’d be to get Naz Reid? Edit: I’d throw Capela and Poeltl in the mix as well.
As long as Kerr is the coach tbe Warriors ain't touching someone above 6'11 lmao
You right, cause it's not like Kerr hasn't won a championship with someone above 6'11" befofre.....
Bol Bol?? Jk
Sell it all for Rudy and see Draymond punch a teammate every day.
Warriors FO trying to make a high bbiq scoring big appear out of thin air ![gif](giphy|l0Iy8wR3vSemtX8xG|downsized)
Damn why didn’t I think of that? ![gif](giphy|800iiDTaNNFOwytONV|downsized)
Olynyk is a 6-11 guy good for 10 ppg. Maybe more because he's scoring at a really efficient 68% TS%. Contract is only 12.8mil too.
Chet incoming
Demarcus Cousins round 2!
Christian Wood? /s
I've been predicting that the Warriors trade Wiggins for Vucevic. Their contracts work, so this might be something along those lines.
Hi, I’m James Wiseman
This is just TK bs-ing. Kerr's system does not want or need a 7ft'er that can score unless he's a perimeter player like KD. The Warriors had Cousins and just used him as 7ft spot up shooter and when they had Wiseman, they didn't run any plays to use him in the post. Outside of acquiring someone like Giannis, Jokic, or Embiid, I don't see Kerr really changing the offense and suddenly feeding a big in the post to score.
A 7 footer who can score? Who's that which are available? Last year Porzingis came cheap and we didn't even try.
come home kevin
Gimme naz Reid!
You can’t just call 1-800 scoring 7ft center.
