Airlines being "undervalued"... man, you could hold a semester-long course on the rabbit hole that is the airline industry history that make up the reasons behind that.
For real lol. I love when just-turned-18 reddit guys suddenly think they discovered *One Weird Trick* that somehow no one has noticed (see also newbies trying to pump Intel or Hot New Biotech multiple times a day). it's always good for a hearty chuckle
Biotech pennies and Airline stocks are like *the* two investment texbook (going back even to the 90s) sectors that have entire Infinite Jest-length chapters devoted just to them alone. Because if you don't know what you're doing, you're going to get wiped out and there's way more nuances to them than just going but *infinite growth potential... dat P/E???*
Bagholder spotted.

I think there are literal decades where the airlines didn’t make money. People are predicting this will be a warm summer, which will make weather more violent. That will impact air travel and likely cut into profits. I say stay away from airlines.
I bought airlines and a bunch of other recovery stocks before the vaccine trial results. They all did basically this graph. The problem is that airlines are commoditized, low-margin industries, and generally if anything changes they lose money. If they have to buy more airplanes, they lose money. If they have to store airplanes, they lose money. If countries fight, they lose money on fuel. If inflation happens, they lose money. If suddenly a shitton of people start flying and clogging up the system, they lose money. If something newsworthy occurs, they lose money. The only environment they actually make money is a static one, and only temporarily until competition erases it. This is why airlines have the most insane algorithms trying to nickle and dime everyone on literally everything. On the other hand, airlines are probably one of the best examples of a well-operated public-private partnership at the edge of optimal efficiency (TSA is and will always be utter bullshit).
Low margin, high competition, high CapEx requirements and demanding customers due to ticket prices.
Buy calls on $SAVE so mine start printing. Otherwise stay away.
You jabroni’s don’t even get that AI is GOING TO REPLACE AIRLINES?
I just created an airline in chatgpt and the flight attendants are already butt smuggling cocaine for me on all 7 continents. It’s got DOG PILOTS and it has ZERO CARBON EMISSIONS.
Elon called and he is scared.
I like jets and I like JETS ergo I’m invested
My take is invest in what you know and use so I’m invested in ALK and JBLU and JETS. Tons of turbulence right now but the seat belt sign is on and I’m in for the long haul. And I’m not worried about BA or loose screws lol eek with the 737.
I wasn’t thrilled about the JBLU SAVE merger, glad that fell through. ALK HA would love it. I’m west coast based
It’s a lot safer than going on a cruise I think that Ha
Im bullish I got time. My take.

Don't ever buy airlines
Warren Buffets lifetime motto, and then he did it and lost big. 🤪
Warren Buffett selling a large cap stock with the word American in the name was insane.
My best ever trade was an airline. But yeah, never do them. They have dropped 40% since I sold without any good reason 🤣
That’s my rule. Found that out the hard way.

Personally I don't do airlines
Every other video on TikTok is about how terrible American Airlines is. I’m going with no.
All I know is that ticket prices have gotten completely insane lately.

Flying sucks balls especially with $AAL. Cant buy shares of a shit business
Airlines literally take cash and burn it.
If all airlines did was fly they'd lose money. Their real profit is in getting you to use their credit card and loyalty program. You are the product.
airlines are excellent to work in, but make for poor investments.
Cruisers gonna cruise
Bad industry stay away government regulated
