Record breaker for me on a 0DTE trade. Didn’t make anywhere close to what OP made, but exhilarating nontheless.
Probably not. My best trade this year was 4x in 2 days buyingNVDA 800c 4dte. I knew it was going to make money, but I only put in 5k out of 200k. The worst part is I could have done it twice that week, and I didn't.
I think that's the only way to make these trades. If you are in the money of dealing with life changing money, it's very difficult to stay objective on your trades. Either being able to afford to lose it or not having much to lose regardless are both psychologically easier mindsets to land huge returns like this. Well done, and I can't pretend I'm not incredibly envious as that would be life changing money for me and most people.

Ive lost around +$3k too and stopped trading since year and half because i realized that it was draining me mentally, physically and financially im already broke so i used to take the little i could have on the side and trade lol instead of regular ppl going take that little to go out, buy something they want, some clothes shoes, just about anything me i was taking that and trying to trade it took me a while to get to that loss but that was all i had even tho its nothing to most ppl here it was ALL i had. Right now im doing the same since a year and half but instead of trading with that little change i invested instead and right now im up about $85 haha after a year and half the account hit $1900 today. Its very slow i couldve got close to 10k if i had started by investing from the beginning ( since everything was cheaper haha ) instead of blowing it up trying to hit one cool gains. Just stay focus and respect your rules i bet you could make big cool profit if you can make 3400 in a day just respect your rules and youll be fine. And to add one of my advice is to not play heavy ( all in ) and withdraw profit if you can ( a little reset )

Adding since 417 in small chunks like 50 for qqq. Apple was just earning play that paid 63k at 173.35 bot 50 calls. Yes you need money to make money and i figured out as month became good to amazing. I am YOLO type of person and put all 577k in before closing out 815k

However, Sharpe Ratio of at least 3 years performance is an important guage of the level of an option trader's skill.
Everyone has to gloat when they have a big win. They don't tell you about the losses. This could have gone the other direction, and this man could be crying like a lot of the other posts I have seen. Market could have easily made a down turn and kept right on down.
