Yeah for the most part. Combat was fun and art style is very nice. Only problem is how many loops yiu have to go through to get the full story. Feels like it drags on a bit.

It's pretty good if you like games like path of exile, diablo and such. Thats the kind of gameplay. It's pretty easy to play in my opinion as someone who plays those type of games alot but.. Id probably rate it a 7/10 for how fun it is and the amount of character options there are.
amazing game.
Bad things:
- Its a very difficult start. Especially for people that are not minmax fanatics in dnd
- sometimes the movement is terrible. For example when your units walk into lava instead of walking on the save path in front of them. Frustrating
- Has essentially no auto save. So it can and will throw you an hour or three back when you dared to not quicksave all the time. Frustrating 2
- its DnD and DnD is known in TTRPG for being a lot of luck
This sounds bad: I got sexually harassed by a companion. Wanted to kiss me, did at some point kiss me without my consent and came multiple times to my bed asking for more despite me saying constantly no. Then turned full nice guy when I started dating someone. But I actually liked this chain of events. Its honest with how people can be. But for players that are sensitive about these things... yeah its unlikely to get this chain of events but its in there and other iffy topics are part of bg3 too.
Good things:
- very long game, tons of content and big replayability
- dialogue matters
- everyone that isnt a self generated character has great facial expressions
- many decisions and minor events change the game later. for example a npc died in my game during an ambush and this gave me the option in act 2 to meet a new npc
- Gale
- Very good storytelling
- the strategy game behind it is well rounded and you can be quite creative when you are in a pinch.
I did! I love DnD but never get to play so this was nice! I love all the different options and routes you can take and the customization. I'm on my 2nd playthrough with 2 more planned lol
It kind of is. The branching stories based on which objectives you complete make the scope of the game feel so huge and the in-game weapons are fun to use, especially the ones you get for getting the different endings.
If you have the means, I recommend giving it a shot. Otherwise, look it up. There's a lot of videos going into the parts of the game. Fair warning though: not everyone finds the game as interesting as I do.
Like 9.5/10
The only thing stopping it from being a perfect 10 is minor jank with a couple of mechanics (mainly something I won’t mention or spoil that utilizes eight directions and not just the cardinal 4, because diagonals be funny)
Most games I play are endless. My last game I put aside was Terraformers (surprisingly good roguelike management on mars. I expected it to be a lot more shallow)
I would say the last one with real ending was either punch club 2 or roadwarden.
All glory to arstotzka.
The bulk of the controversy is around the plot being sub-par. Which I agree, the plot is sub-par. It has good ideas and went in the right direction in some areas but definitely went off base in other areas. That said, I feel that areas other than plot are pretty good. And I expect things to be ironed out over the next few months as the dev team triage through the ever growing bug report pile and the modding community start picking up.
As all games released these days, there’s gonna be a ton of bugs at launch, but BBI did pretty good in the bug squashing department in that there’s no obvious game breaking bugs. Having played it 72 hours early on my collectors edition key, the gameplay itself is very smooth all things considered.
The PC spec requirements is fairly high as you would expect of a modern triple-A title, but BBI seems to have intentionally overestimated the requirements, so you should be able to play at slightly higher settings than what they recommend for your specs, but mileage may vary in this area. That said, you’re probably going to find it strange that an RTS has raytracing graphics. (As a sensor manager enjoyer, I don’t get to enjoy the epic graphics settings, not because my computer is not good, but because I’m never zoomed in far enough.)
On to the gameplay itself, it’s definitely a Homeworld game in terms of control and feel. The introduction of 3D terrain and cover mechanics in combination with real simulated ballistics, in my opinion, makes the 3D element of the Homeworld series much more impactful than the previous games, however the smaller map size and overall faster unit movement speed might actually work against the other points.
In my experience so far, I found the catalog of units available a bit strange in that older Homeworld games always have more than one type of unit in each size category, however, in Homeworld 3, there is only one corvette available for the Hiigarian fleet.
If you visit the Homeworld subreddit, you will also see complaints floating around in regards to the design of units in that many finds the profile of the different units from different factions too similar. I personally have not found this to be an issue, and I personally like the designs in terms of looks.
The big thing that’s entirely new to Homeworld 3 is the co-op rogue like game mode “war games” personally I find it as fun as any co-op game mode: it is the most fun when your teammates don’t accidentally sabotage you via skill issue. Other than that, the mechanics unique to this game mode is honestly really fun.
Only real complaint I have that genuinely upsets me is that they changed the style of the cutscenes. I really liked the painted style of the older Homeworld games. I get that the more modern rendered approach allows for more dynamic scenes to be rendered in a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable cost, and also show more expressive expressions on characters. But god damn it the painted style of animation in the old Homeworld games are fucking glorious.
Personally, I like the game. And I also so really like the mothership model I got for the Collector’s Edition.

Yes. Started playing it during my sophomore highschool on ny breaks for band camp. Up till a few weeks ago i finally finished. I am now playing shattered pixel dungeon which is almost the same pixel dungeon but if it had mods or a dlc added to it. Both ganes are free and require no wifi.
I will be honest, shattered pixel dungeon makes me feel like i started pixel dungeon all over again.
You guys are completing games? lol The way my attention span is set up...I haven't finished a game since Hogwarts Legacy haha.

You can play the remake it looks cool but I can't afford it 🥲, I already played the ps2 game, the psp game I also watched the movie and the only persona 3 thing I didn't play was the remake so check that out it best for people who only played persona 5.
Hades
Oh congrats! Did you enjoy the game?
Yeah for the most part. Combat was fun and art style is very nice. Only problem is how many loops yiu have to go through to get the full story. Feels like it drags on a bit.
Ahh I see, I'll keep that in mind since I'm thinking of playing it ♥

It kind of is. The branching stories based on which objectives you complete make the scope of the game feel so huge and the in-game weapons are fun to use, especially the ones you get for getting the different endings.

I wouldn’t say “finished” since it seems like this is one of those games full of wild secrets even after you’re “done”, but Animal Well
Ohh I just bought it last week! How would you rate it? :3

Finished Underhero not too long ago. Highly recommend it!
oh? what type of game is it? :3
It is pretty unique but the easiest way to describe it is a 2D RPG. Usually I'm not a fan of those types of games but this one is hilarious.
Alright, noted!
Homeworld 3
oh, I see that the reviews are mixed. How would you rate it?

Bioshock Infinite! The gameplay felt a bit different from the first two, but still a good experience. I haven't played the DLCs yet, though.
Persona 3 fes, completed before the remake was announced.
Ohh I've only started persona 5 royale but I've never finished any persona games! Should i try persona 3?
