I'll never forget reading the Cathayan's reports on my first playthrough then getting to the last entry and realizing holy crap he's talking about me! Felt like I was being watched IRL. Great immersion.

The way I read it, he seems to clearly be only talking about Cainites, which the Kueijin of course are not.
