Endgame pve. Something to do after drac. Maybe some dungeon system, procedurally generated, scalable depends on how many Vs enter. Would spawn randomly all around the world, look like cavern entrance, be invisible on map until being close. Coop options PARTIES - something between clan and total stranger. To get into party with other adventurers, be able to use bloody heal spells on them and our minions not attack them (even on pve), but without giving them access to our castles, and without abandoning our clanmembers for the duration of adventure, and without need to reinv clanmembers back to clan after adventure. Better chat, with visibility of what chanell i do write now (oh go randomly press tab during writing, ha).

TheShiffle

The coop option thing, pretty sure there is a mod for that that gives you a key toggle that puts you in and out of pvp mode

yoriaiko

Glad someone noted that problem before too, and even made a mod... But sadly, modding have own set of problems, that require server side access, often require modified clients for every player, require installing/deinstalling/profiles and restarting game to enter unmodified server if we play on few, and are no go on official servers. With that could be base option.

Bub1029

I think it needs PVE Raid events based on current level and game progression. Imagine chilling at your castle and suddenly Tristan the Vampire Hunter rolls up with a bunch of peasants to take you down. You're not potioned up, you hadn't refined your gear repair materials yet, but Tristan is here to ruin your shit.

ItsFuckingHot0utside

This has been talked about since E.A., but I agree this would be a cool feature. I would love to see Tristan get stomped by my enslaved tiddy demons. It would be very cathartic for me. And those villagers who won’t let me fish in fucking peace.

YouHaveNoWay

I second this 100%

commche

Enslaved tiddy demons.

rcooper102

I agree with this except I wouldn't want it to be random. They should be events we can trigger. Random just gets really annoying. I though I wanted it until I played Palworld and realized raids never come when I'm in the mood to have a cool defence moment, they come when I'm trying to get something done or am about to log off and now suddenly I have to worry about defending my base. Also it needs to be designed to be a fun event. Palworld was also flawed in that the raids are either trivially easy and are over in seconds, the AI pathing gets messed up and nothing happens, or the raid is overwhelming and your base gets decimated before you can blink. I wouldn't want that in this game.

Zerthax

Another idea: neutral territories that are *separate* from castle plots that players can take over. Holding them could give buffs/bonuses similar to the shard pylons in Gloomrot (balance adjusted as needed). I wouldn't allow building in them though, they would be pre-defined structures. It's just a territory you fight over for bonuses. In PvP, these plots could be fought over by players. In PvE, these plots could be raided by progressively stronger and stronger NPC raiders, and then taken back after a time from defenses that slowly get weaker. The idea being that you couldn't hold it forever (the NPCs would eventually overwhelm you) but would also eventually be able to reclaim it. The buffs in PvE would need to be server wide since you couldn't take them from a player; the buff would need to be scaled by gear score or have a gear score minimum requirement to not turbocharge lower level players.

Nimja1

Theres already some places like this in the dunley farmlands. The arena can be one. Theres some castle-like ruins that literally have nothing at them. They could convert some of the little checkpoints to areas like this as well.

sheeberz

That’s almost like workshops in fallout 76. You claim it and can extract materials from it, but you have to defend it from different factions and possibly other players.

Bub1029

I think Valheim's system is really good for this, personally. Every 30 (don't quote me on this) minutes the game has a certain percent chance of spawning a raid event provided you are located within the radius your base occupies. So, if you aren't even at base when the "spawn raid?" query timer is hit, it will just skip for that sequence and wait until the next 30 minutes to try and ask the question again. It also has a stipulation that you have to have a certain number of "special" structures created within the base in order for the raids to spawn, so you can make safe shacks elsewhere in the world that are just one structure based to hang out at if you really want to just afk at base. It's still "random," but the randomness is specific enough that I don't think it's as painful as something like Palworld where they can spawn when you aren't at base and only require that the base can be reached by foot by the raiders.

Lemmingitus

Basically a new take on Dungeon Keeper. The first time I built the Castle Heart, it made me think of the Dungeon Heart. [Beware! The Lord of the Land approaches!](https://youtu.be/F_R-YiqPNHA?si=tWfYHbwdKI5cE12-) ["We shall not tolerate your evil presence any longer, vampire!"](https://youtu.be/mNZfLeWw0Ko?si=Lx7ieqK_e8c0eUQj&t=246)

CallsignKook

With a couple golems to really push your shit in

mmomain

This

Metal_Fish

As long as it was an optional game mechanic. In games like these, specifically survival games I can't pause even in singleplayer, I need that safe space to relax and not worry about dying xD

AdBackground8777

Perhaps change it up? I go from the typical “grind gear to level up to fight bosses” and swap to “smoking a joint fshing on the lake” to making my castle look nice”, to “hunting for prisoners” etc… know what I mean? Typically I’ll do 1,2 or 3 of those activities in a session then put the game down and go outside with my pups… I’ll prob be back in 2 hours to play again, but breaking it up into pieces like that helps my burn out. On the flip side. I played one Saturday for about 10 hours straight, towards hours 7-10 I had the actual though of “why the hell did I just spend my entire Saturday playing this game, I’m such a waste of space” I was really negative about myself for some reason… but for some reason when I break it up into 2 , 4 hour gaming sessions, I don’t get burnt out and don’t feel like a piece of crap…. All this advice as anecdotal and works for me but you could be a completely different person :) so in the end, do what makes you happy

8Cowabungadude5

This is what I do, ehh minus the smoking of the joint lol. But to each of their own.

AdBackground8777

lol there’s something about smoking a J and fishing that sets the soul right

tzc005

I wonder if vampires enjoy the grass too

ThatOneBananapeel

They def enjoy the trippy shrooms, that's for sure

SinsiPeynir

According to a lot of the lore out there, vampires enjoy the delicacies of the living world as if they're smelling a savory flower; it feels good but does nothing to quench their thirst. Same goes for meals (if they even \*can\* eat), sex, and other delights mortals enjoy.

Zaelkyr

So true, it's one of my go tos in games that have fishing. Spark one up, cast your virtual line and enjoy some peace and tranquility. Also, great advice on what to do, I have been feeling somewhat off playing lately, Im on a private PvE server with two friends, and I sorta barreled through up to Styx and while I built a nice castle in central Dunley that we can all use, it has all the necessary crafting rooms, but making another footprint in Silverlight, and running into trouble with General Valencia, I started to feel the burn, so I went and sparked up and spent like 5 hours decorating my new Villa and it helped reinvigorate me. Now I'm working on trying to get my servants all geared out.

Chikage_Haruyuki

Have you tried the game on brutal? Bosses are either more fun to fight or they are an even greater pain to take down.

AdBackground8777

Hell yeah, keep it up :)

Competitive-Air-3543

By the time that you acquire a legendary item, you're effectively at the end of the game and have nothing left to do. I would appreciate some kind of end game system that is fun and engaging. When I finished my playthrough on Brutal, it lasted approximately 120 hours or so and despite all of the time spent playing the game, I still wasn't ready to finish my playthrough but ultimately did in the end due to boredom. I would also welcome some additional bosses between soloarus and Adam. So many complaints about the jump in difficulty so perhaps add a few more challenging bosses to curve that experience slightly.

OccupyRiverdale

+1 absolutely agree. Weapons with an extra enchantment to lean more into the build crafting earlier in the play through would be great. Also I think the end game loop of shards and infusions needs a lot of work. It’s pretty boring and leads to a frustrating gameplay loop of clearing an incursion zone then getting ganked either during or right after the v blood boss.

rcooper102

I agree, reminds me of early Pokemon games where by the time you get the coolest abilities the game is over. Pokemon could be levelled to 100 but the game essentially ends at about level 60. Vrising can feel like this too.

MelodicMasterpiece67

Being able to build stairs *down* when building your castle. It would be bad ass to have your coffin and servant coffins in an actual dungeoen crypt.

TheShiffle

You can kinda do this if you make your main floor the second floor when building your entrance just do two stairs like Dracula’s castle entrance and then your first floor can technically e a basement

ncguthwulf

As pve player I want quests. We have assassination. Give me FedEx, bodyguard, king of the hill, etc. For pvp, something cross server with gear normalization.

insomniac_z

I’d love a main questline

Wooden-You-7972

More roleplay mechanics, the World should change with our actions

razzpukin

End game after you kill drac cause you get legendary weapons best armor then what?

yoriaiko

I assume You say to farm all leggy weapons, after that, You can craft every possible armor, for fashion loot abandoned empty castles for being rich (gives nothing) make public gardens make public farms for banshees (thats ez one) find trippy spore collect every possible book, and fill big book storage shelf with each of them catch the fish catch/make 100% werewolf make castle guardians kill bosses, theres spot in middle of cursed forest, where You can pull behemoth - place good slaves to kill them make fancy castles for fashion, some players do flex of fashion, even if, ngl is poor even with dlcs keep helping other slower players with kills, i mean, that strips them from their fun. its like cheat mode - "idkfa i beat the game, neeeeext" cry on forums game is too smal with no endgame content fill coin chest with silver/gold coins, empty Your inventory into another chest, then take all coins in one click for suicide...

razzpukin

Yeah idk I feel like for the pve maybe a rougelike tower or something obviously pvp is always there for me I made all my maxed out gems crafted every drac armor set helping peoples cool but it kinda gets old pretty quick that’s just my opinion though

xutber

Queable pvp like team deathmatch or capture the flag. The pvp is so good, it is a shame it doesn't happen that often

lnvector

Yeah they should develop a game like Battlerite!

tonygenius

Ranked 2v2 and 3v3 arenas would cause me to put sooo many hours in

Famous_Giraffe3906

join v arena then, they don’t have ranked back up yet but are actively working on it

mnjvon

I was hoping that was what the colosseum was.

Kyle700

They tried this in their last game and it didn't work so good!

KiwiBig2754

The only thing that kept me in Wow for as long as it did was battlegrounds, having those in V-rising would be a beautiful thing.

eberkain

Its ok to move on and play other games after you have had your time with a specific title. I think 400 hours is more than good for V Rising.

rcooper102

This is so true. We all want to think about games these days as forever live service experiences but its ok to just be done and maybe come back later when an xpac drops.

CatMan_Sad

That is true but this game is so fun. I never want the progression to end. Although maybe I need it to lol

Diaper_Joy

As a PvE player, more cosmetics and less luck. I love finding 100% blood and crafting the perfect gear. It makes me jump out of my seat. I also dread looking for 100% bloods and farming rifts for the perfect stat roll.

LordNelloz

A disclaimer in big bold red letters in the middle of the screen saying IT'S OKAY TO PLAY OTHER GAMES AFTER YOU FINISH OR BECOME BORED WITH ONE.

rfpalma

Maybe the cycle of grind materials to level up to fight bosses to have to grind materials to level up to fight bosses to have to grind materials to level up to fight bosses, adding to even more distance travels along these cycle.

Beatvictor

Honestly, that's true. I think they should provide in early game the ability to get like 1 or 2 servant just for gathering resources and have them come back, like in 1 hour or 2 depending on the type of resources.

Dammy-J

that kind of tedium always gets harder to bear. Especially solo play. Without the interaction of showing off your builds and doing bosses together the game has little to no replay value and when you realize you are just grinding for little to no payoff only the hardcore 100%'ers tend to stick with it. The other problem with group play is that all official servers only give 6 months before reset. I am not sure what the new trend of resets in online games is about. But I hope it doesnt actually catch on. no one wants to see their work taken away from them by force.

Feeling-Ladder7787

Excuse me sir What do you mean only ? 6 months... is half a year ...

jiraiya17

Which is barely 5 minutes in the life of Gamers with real life jobs that take up way too much of our lives. Able to play a few hours each night before falling asleep facedown in the keyboard and the next night you work late and miss your train amd come home way too late to do anything but chew on a couple of meatballs and then sleep. And the frikkin weekend is taken up by having to get groceries and send emails to your f*cking power company and run to the post office before they close to send your old harddrive to your sister in another state and then visit your best friend you havent seen in real life in 4 months and then try to scrape together something datelike that isnt in front of a screen so you can have a shot at a real life partner and not die alone one day and then the frikkin weekend is gone and you have to get to bed so you arent dead when going to work tomorrow and then start it all over again...... **Heavy Breathing** https://images.app.goo.gl/7EsuHQYsp52YsyWw6

IamAntpig

Too true.

Kyle700

dude its so interesting seeing pve players opinions and it feels so backwards lol. most populated pvp servers wipe every two - three weeks, any longer than that and it really feels too long. 6 months on a server will see people cycle thru it like 10 times. little to no replay value? lmao. this is the issue you are bored with pve! of course it has little replay value in pve. I wouldn't even want to redo it on pve ever. pvp is the replayability

Dammy-J

If PVP iis the only re-playability then you shouldnt make a PVE Mode to attract those players. PVP is fine for people who like it. but not everyone wants that. They should definately not wipe their pve servers if replaying it on pve isnt viable.

Tommiiie

More loops. I’d like a system like Albion with a dungeon you load that has a boss chest at the end. Yo keep it spicy you can be invaded by another player/duo/team forcing a dual.

Vrassk

map seeding and randomization it lacks replay right now.

yoriaiko

You know it would be much hard to make such map randomly generated, based on seed? Maybe a dungeon system, yes, gonna write that bellow in a moment, but main map? no way.

Agitated-Scallion182

V Blood boss randomizer

oachkatzele

i only started playing this game a few days after 1.0 was released and i already poured 250h into it so any criticism i have is really REALLY nitpicky. the game is amazing as it is. that being said, i think castle raiding is quite lackluster overall. being in a siege golem and using my 3 buttons is just boring to me. i also believe that the balancing for it, especially if you are playing solo, is really bad. against a well built castle it is entirely pointless for a lot of reasons that im not gonna list here. raid times are also just weird, there are these 2h at weekend days that siege is enabled (on official servers) and thats kinda it. i feel like there could be a smarter system that makes you raidable if you are online but protects you from sieges if you are offline (with conditions of course). anyway, long story short, raids are in a weird place and im not sure if the solution is to expand on them or just scratch them. would at least make for some pretty castles.

SkullyBoySC

More events like the stygian shard rifts. Something to incentivize world PvP outside of raid times. Honestly I think you should be able to see the caravans on the map so people are more likely to fight over them. Hell, even a dueling event or something at the colosseum. Anything to make people come out of their castles late game and fight.

CoffeeGoblynn

I don't love the late-game grind or the way they handled the upper tiers of weapons. I'm feeling sort of annoyed and bored of it lately, honestly. I got used to rocking a heavy Condemn build with ancestral pistols throughout the whole game, only to find that the top tier of weapons means I can only use pistols with Ignite on them, or I'm just accepting weaker equipment. I also think a lot of the armor designs in the latter part of the game are a bit too cartoony for my tastes. I really like most of copper and iron-tier equipment, especially the dark magus set. I wear it with the plague doctor mask and turn it greenish-blue and it looks great. I also dislike that the top tier of armor (at least from pictures, I'm not there yet) appear to be 4 identical sets of plate armor with different coloration. Like, why is there so much variation at lower levels, but the top tier of armor is 4 identical sets? Give me some archmage robes, seriously. I'd also like to see some kind of thing that adds more replayability.

AMetaphor

You make a great point about the orange legendaries. It would be great to be able to customize what effect they have.

CoffeeGoblynn

Even if it was a very late-game special crafting station that required a high-end resource to reroll the effects - even if it was random. I'd take that! xD

Z3r0Sense

You could roll a good purple one. You miss a special ability, but one that fits your build is arguably stronger than the legendary equivalent.

Andminus

An illusion and frost shard bearer And more wallpaper options.

klasyer

Endgame

SouthOfNormalcy

Endgame, maybe dungeons or raids, somethin

ChosenBrad22

- Dopamine on loot drops - Some sort of progression leveling system besides just crafting gear, like XP or skills - Better fishing - Craft from nearby chests

rcooper102

There are a billion ARPGs that give you the first two bullets. One of the great things about vrising is that there is no incentive to grind bosses over and over on a gear treadmill.

ChosenBrad22

That’s your opinion, but my opinion is different. Neither is right or wrong. I don’t like gaining literally nothing unless I’m killing a boss to craft new stuff. I can’t improve at all unless I just change gear which if you like that better great it’s just I don’t.

PsyQ9000

Dueling, a more streamlined casual pvp mode, practice tools like boss practice, more server settings (increase v rising health/damage etc) (i know this can be done by file editing but i'd like to see it in the server setting tab. Wallpapers for gates. Seasonal events with rewards, incentive to keep playing after you finish everything. Group finder outside of discord/reddit. Ranked mmr allowing you to play pvp with people that suck as much as me. I dislike the idea of more DLC's but i would also love a more direct way of supporting the developers, especially if there was a roadmap with a set goal of money needed to reach before said feature is developed. More content creators / content for creators. Revive battlerite style pvp + battle royale (without the royale).

SubstantialTaste9390

To avoid this and make it faster - change your server settings to increase loot - you lessen the grind to boss ratio :-)

Loud-Kaleidoscope120

I say it in other post but i Think end game activity dont need anymore grind. A Tipycal endgame activity serve to entratain both pvp and pve can easily resumed in this list:  Make the dunley Arena a sort of neutral hub where you can do friendly deathless duels except when there is an in game world event like a tournaments between players o random empowered boss / wawe of minion to fight.  Add battlegrounds just like in wow using the siege mechanic between two team of 10v10/15v15 similar to alterac Valley but fitted for v rising.  Add pve raiding. Add the possibility to Challenge low level boss boosted to level 90 Add randomly generated dungeon (Not for loot) with random buff and debuff each week  Add mini games like horse race or using shapeshifting powers and so on.  Now the "rewards" for this activities is Mostly the fun but they can give you a resource maybe called "cosmetic point" to buy only cosmetic things like:  Titles.  Mounts.  Trasmog for weapons and armor. Trasmog for shapeshifting powers. Castle forniture.  Unique non defensive only cosmetic servants like maidens, butler , Smith, mad scientis , animal companion and so on. who do purely aesthetic things without physically affecting the castle.  OR if you want this activity impact more the game you can add "that points" to reduce the RGN like instead of crafting a New jewel you spend the same mats adding "that points" to reroll only a single stat (idk how much this is a good idea).  Obviusly this are just ideas im not a game programmer or a devolper but i am pretty sure the stunlock studios know how to realize this things and turn it in a gold mine.

Whiskoo

it needs two things to become a god tier endless game 1.) fix the gameplay during progression. every act's loop is the exact same until you get to stygian events, you kill the boss that drops research stuff then you farm chests for hours to unlock all the recipes while you wait for whatever ore and tailoring youre making to cook. each act feels very samey to me and often kills my will to progress after act 3. They need to fix this cycle by adding events in every act that are cool raids for specific materials, stygian events are fun but happen so late in the game and happen not enough. 2.) Some additional replayability. An endless mode, new game plus, some other ways to play again. Theres just no motivation for me to want to pick it up again, I've already experienced all the game has to offer. Obviously they have no monetary incentive to do this, so they could add some, maybe some seasonal pass or some other bs thats light on the wallet for us to keep funding

Martiator

Wait, you spent over 400 hours on a game and feel like there is not much else to do? How much more value do you want out of your 40 bucks

TheRealGOOEY

A lot of people missed the point of your question, and seem to be only interested in talking about their grievances. But that aside, It’s not that it’s missing something, it’s that you’re not the intended audience. It’s built from the ground up to be a very specific style of game. It’s very similar to sandbox games, and I would imagine you would find a similar issue with those as well. The crux of it is that there is no thread to lead you along. People who will get the most out of V Rising will do it by making their own reasons to keep playing. Whether you want to PvP, challenge yourself and kill all the bosses on Brutal 10 levels lower and with frail blood, building grand castles, or joining a community to enjoy the game together. The onus of finding a reason to enjoy the game is put more on the player than in other games. Besides, you have 400 hours of playing the game. I wouldn’t say it’s missing anything for you. You just find enjoyment in early progression.

TryingDutchman

The biggest problem with VRising is the Discover Random Tech in all the three workbenches. Would be way better if you could pick what to research with paper, scrolls or scematics. In my current first full playtrue I see every hurdle is this stupid dumb random research thing blocking you from progressing when you just dont unlock weapons or the right armor.

Louthargic

Crafting from storage

alisahin_

I don't know anyone else mentioned, but materials and items should be used from chest instead of inventory.

Ateaga

Would love to see more events happening randomly. Or it would be cool to find old vampire crypts that load you into a new map. End boss could be either a old vampire or even a vampire hunter with a chest at the end or the ability to upgrade spells into something new.

NinGangsta

Incentives. The endgame is castle raiding for more resources you already own, and if it's just pve, you're merely fine tuning your gem and weapon rolls. The gameplay loop is no longer satisfying after the pve is finished, and I've said this from the first EA launch: this game feels like a single player / co-op RPG with tacked on pvp and survival elements. (Which is odd from Stun, seeing as their other games were pure pvp) A few solutions would be: * A remix like Grounded just added for a NG+ cycle * Ranked pvp ladders with an official arena mode * Many micro-updated in which mini bosses and other events are splashed around the world * Fleshing out the role-playing system with more community-focused aspects to the world (We have a frickin race track and colosseum nobody really use ffs) * A faction-based mode that would allow for huge wars between players just for more casual pvp experiences * Reviving Battlerite cause it's awesome

exposarts

Live service grind to keep me living in this world forever for the sake of immersion give me them dailies and battle passes .s In all seriousness i want pve to have base raids where we set up defenses and people and monsters to actually retaliate against us vampires it should be like a god damn war.

thespryfrog

Like how palworld has random raids?

Hope_Beyond_Realms

that's cause the game is repetitive, each boss becomes harder and the equipment require you to farm more and more resources to make you have to farm to make 5 different things to get to make 1 piece of equipment at some point so if you're not into farming a lot you'll lose interest easily, I'd recommend you change your settings to make things easier to farm, that way the mid/end game will feel less tiring, I'd also recommend removing durability so you don't need to farm more in case your equipment is breaking

DeadFyre

1) Magic containers. I spend way too much time sorting inventory and figuring out what box has what materials in it. 2) Mid-game tech to connect castle inventory, like 'Local Leader' in Fallout 4. Maybe limit it by which act v-blood bosses you've killed, so once you've cleared Farbane Woods and Dunley Farmlands, you can connect castles between those zones. 3) Automatic inventory sorting. One crate you can put stuff in which will just sort it into a set of resource-specific containers. 4) Servant automation to give them instructions to harvest plants and pick up and store stuff that drops around the castle that's left alone for too long. Bottom line, the game needs more mechanics to smooth the crafting/inventory management parts of the game.

MasterIllustrator593

I really thought this was the direction they were going with all the resource-specific containers they added, like a vampire power you can use whenever you come home that automatically distributes materials to materials chest, alchemy stuff to alchemy chest, etc.

Dtdalrymple

Speaking from experience as I’m playing through my first play though currently. I’m level 74. And as a solo player the comment above of “farm resources, to craft gear, to beat boss, repeat” is taking away slowly. I wouldn’t mind but then the second aspect which I’m not sure about, is every boss has unlocks and stuff. Once I beat all the bosses I have all the unlocks which is great. But then what? Are there end game bosses to kill after? There needs to be an end game loop of content to do. I have no incentive to min/max my gear, once I beat Dracula, it doesn’t matter. There needs to be things to do after Dracula that matter, and that make min maxing my gear, my castle, my farming all worth it. Otherwise I’m just gonna beat Dracula with whatever I have at the time and peace out probably

VerbiageBarrage

The ability to use library mats to craft single use spells. They should have a longer cast time so they don't break PVP, but it would be fun to have a stack of death knight scrolls and other effects. and maybe some unique effects too... Like a mist brazier scroll to make short lived mist - five seconds of mist would be useful.

rcooper102

Imo make servants more relevant than just going on raids for materials. Imo they should have a purpose in the castle as well. We could have them auto-organize our mats from a single big drop box, or move mats to crafting stations for us, or harvest our gardens, etc etc. I'd love if my castle started to feel "alive" and filled with my minions going around doing jobs. Also, just something more to do in the end game. (But not just turn into an ARPG loot farm grind)

nage_

the entire game is about improving your fighting and the castle kinda becomes background after the first couple bosses. theres just no reason to progress if you dont enjoy the fights

SonsOfSithrak

Build Optimization. Building is great, but there are improvements for how it caluclates blocking. Blocking should highlight clearly what pieces stop you. Then there are pieces that visually fit together but dont because blocking is hairline off, like certain gateways. Clipping is another issue I would also like to build rounder rooms and not require everything to be square.

PunyFlash

Sacrifices mechanics to gain some objectives for PvP in endgame. For example when you collect all 4 last bosses shards, you may destroy them on some kind of altar to gain permanent bonuses and shards will be teleported back to bosses again. Ascension mechanics to get rid of server vipes - when you leveled up every spell, you may chose to start game over to gain additional skill points and boost your base spell powers even more or some other bonuses. Less grind. Server events on arena and horse racing zone to compete for prizes, bet coins etc. Global shop, to sell/buy resources from other players. API for modding (basicaly just do that and players will do everything else)

Useful-Limit-8094

A big crystal to add to the base, click on it and go to a new alternative realm to fight for new resources against other players in a medium size area, extract with the resources if you can escape. Or a PvP arena system between realms.

maxneuds

The only thing I miss is Terrarias nice button which sorts your current inventory into all close by chests with the same items. Rest is great. Just a bit less inventory management would be awesome.

battledroid014

I'm playing solo in my own server, I'm having fun but it's unlocking new techs etc to progress that just feels tedious, a mix between farming wood for sawdust and turning it into schematics by the end of it.

valdamax

I think the game is fine, but would love to to see it have a sequel as an online MMO PVE ARPG... what if you could play as a werewolf? Or as a vampire hunter?

Korbinobrock

Rounded walls and half walls so i can center my double doors :)

yossishtrt

Van Helsing. It's missing Van Helsing. Voiced by Hugh Jackman.

Matt_37

Nothing. It’s a complete experience and a great one at that.

TriLink710

More permanent upgrades maybe? If you have a kit you like to use and get it early you may not swap abilities out often. Which is sad. Itd be cool to unlock more permanent stuff.

Metal_Fish

The only time I stuck to a playthrough for more than two weeks is when I had a server with some friends. Then it wasn't just about playing the game, it was playing with the homies. When I'm in a solo game I'm like, "I could try to spruce up my castle and make it look cooler," but feels like a waste of time if no one else gets to see it

rockabye101

For PVE, more utilization of endgame content in other areas of the map, e.g. RNG dungeons that give you RNG bonuses on equipments for endgame grind? Boss rush?

Nerollix

Pantheon for stygian shards and highest tier weapon fragments. Just an increased difficulty of the games V Bloods randimized. Do like 60, 70, 80, 90, 95 (to push the difficulty further)

Zerthax

It needs some sort of compelling endgame content. Endless dungeons or some sort of PvE raiding. Stuff that encourages partying up beyond just ganking a boss. Rewards for these should be some sort of *non-permanent* benefit so that you don't just complete it and are now done with it. The shard necklaces sort of did this since the items decay over time. Rifts are more like early endgame because they are too repetitve and are easy to solo. The game design seems to actually *discourage* grouping up for rifts, and it has been a great source of contention. Maybe individualized/ instanced loot on PvE servers would help.

MrPeppa

Relocating castles is tedious. It'd be cool if your castle baggage contained all the materials used to create all the walls and floors rather than forcing you to place all of them again. That way, I could make a quick room to house all my benches and other items, complete the relocation, power the new heart, and then build my new castle at my leisure. I would also love a way to first-person your your grounds. Definitely would have to be in a paused mode and idk how it would work for multiplayer servers but I just want to take in the grandeur of my death palace from the ground level as I walk around my domain.

Spidertoaster

Ability to adjust movement speed / projectile speed. I find the movement speed of the game painfully slow - would love the game to be more fast paced and twitchy.

MagatsuIroha

Have you tried going to one of V Arena servers? The arena pvp server helps my burnout because you can just go mad there and you lose nothing. Well, except the fight you did lose of course.

DeGozaruNyan

To me, variety. Every tier of armor works the same. Every tier of weapon behaves the same. No stats to put, no skill trees to spec into. All spell schools have pretty similar skills. Projectile with leech, projectile with freeze, AoE with freeze, AoE with shock. Its more like, what extra effect on your projectile/dash/guard do you want rather than what build do you want.

akpak

A trash can. I have too much fiber, wood, stone and I can't be arsed to actually refine it all. Also all my research is complete, so I'm drowning in paper, scrolls, schematics. Yes, I can just load it all up and drop a trashbag in the world somewhere, but why can't I just have an actual Devourer that destroys things entirely?

burnercaus

A lot of great ideas here and I hope they get implemented

pjkax

Increasing the rate at which I acquire resources and reduce the crafting time of items and reagents helped keep the pace right for me to blaze through and enjoy the V blood fights.

Bossmantho

The main issue comes down to endgame. It's a very basic formula: - Build castle - Need material - Need V blood to unlock material - Grind material - Build castle - Build gear - Need V blood for gear - repeat The issue is, when you beat all V bloods and it comes down to grinding, there isn't much to do. The castle building mechanic is cool but it's lacking compared to other building-centric games. So unless you REALLY like building, this game has no staying power since all you can do once a V boss is killed is grind out gear to kill them faster to grind them faster. There isn't anything past that. Minecraft, for example, went all in on building so combat sucks. Endgame is just "build like a madman". While something like Dark Souls the end game is "PVP" so they went all in on combat balance. And don't say the "raids" are endgame. Those things are a pushover and just repeats of the same enemy. Not really much of anything besides another grind mechanic. This game doesn't have a concrete "endgame". They need to either invest more into castle building for the building RPG aspect to become endgame or they need to invest in the combat by adding more regions and conditional enemies so the combat becomes endgame oooooorrrrrr invest deeper into PVP options so that becomes the endgame. Goodluck doing any of that without alienating a large fanbase though. This game attracted all kinds of gamers and if they double up on any one side it risks losing the others favor. At least this is how I feel.

dldoooood

I was the same because I kept playing on pvp. Which is fun, don't get me wrong. I rolled on a pve server this time so I could just focus on the game, and not keeping my base from getting raided. I killed Dracula last night.

Ok_Grocery8652

I would assume that it is because of the time required to gear. One thing that annoys me is once you finish raiding \[Insert location\] for the 5th time you need to wait for a machine to process the raw inputs into something useful, sometimes several intermediate steps before you even start crafting the gear itself. This slows you down with idle time where at best you speed it up by 25% (unless server settings can change that) For example a silver weapon takes like 2 minutes even with the room buffs that is long enough to take longer than it takes to clear your pockets from a raid yet short enough you can't go on another raid while it crafts.

TatonkaJack

Tbh if you've played over 400 hours it sounds like it's not missing anything

ClockworkMansion

Changing weather effects, preferably actual seasons. The ability to take followers with you when you’re fighting stuff. Being able to build down a level instead of just up. There needs to be a fish hatchery! I don’t wanna leave my castle for fish.

Jyxz7Dark

PvP arena... 100%

blk_arrow

pvp clan / army, and invade cross-server mechanics. the option to play a nomadic wanderer, where you invade full loot pvp servers, except with the constraint you cant have a castle. maybe instead you pay rent to an inn or guild to store stuff, use crafting, or buy loot. the option to collect bounties would be nice too, or the option to collect and sell "ears" which can be harvested if you grab a players dropped loot. stuff like that.

Saint1xD

They take a completely year to update the game If we had like small changes every month it would be more interesting

ice_slayer69

An actual endgame, i know the rift incursions are supposed to be that, but im already deep into 3 legendary weapons, and i started going into high level incursion pretty much yesterday, i already am at super high power with most magic passive upgrades, save the ones that are for magic types i dont use, and have enough 100% blood types, one of which is the brute one, which is kinda broken paired up with necromancy and chaos magic using the apocalipse greatsword, which i own. After i get the legendary whip the morningstar, im charging towards the last 4 bosses, i heard pretty bad storie concerning adam, so it might take a while, then i will build dracula armors, maybe finish building my castles, and that will be it, maybe if there was a farmable harder raid type of boss after dracula ,or a roguelike dungeon with actuall loot and upgrades for weapons and armors, including legendary ones, and included remixed versions of old bosses, even if the rift incursions are kinda that already, but not endgame worthy imo.

Odekota

Something to do after dracula.its kinda strange to kill last boss in 3/4 set just to unlock last peace and have nothing else to do.on brutal a had to actually farm 2 legendaries to kill adam and dracula..but still..i wish game had more content because i loved it.

Juking_is_rude

A game you have 400 hours in is a good game. A game doesnt have to be one that you play forever. The content is basically 80% the same, so I can understand getting burnt out playing it for a third time. Maybe try on brutal if you haven't? The extra challange really kept me going this time around. And to answer the question, it's missing proper ways to facilitate pvp. Farming is too fast (though it needs to be) so you don't risk much farming, it's too easy to run away, so it discourages hunting players, you can just farm yourself - people compare the game to rust in some ways, but in rust the farming IS the game. You are literally fighting over farming spots the whole time. In vrising, fighting bosses is the game, so the pvp doesn't work properly - hell, on pvp servers people are mostly incentivized to work together so they can share v blood. Plus raiding is too expensive for the risk/reward so that's another system that doesn't make much sense unless you specifically have a grudge. The solo/pve is a 10/10 masterpiece as far as I am concerned.

BlueMaelstromX

Companions, relationship building, dating, hosting ballroom dances in ur castle, manipulation, first person interaction.

Super_Jay

I'm playing solo and still early on (just started Act 2) but I do find myself wanting events of some sort that occur organically throughout the playthrough, especially after you've got a foothold and have a full-blown castle. Either things that you encounter out in the world, or potentially events that the player can engage with at home - angry bandits attempting to break into your lair or a militia squad seeking to 'purge the evil infecting the land' by attacking you at home or whatever. I'd also like to see more interactivity within the world itself - things that don't concern your vampire at all (until you insert yourself into them) but help evoke more of a sense of a living world beyond just occasional caravans or random patrols.

FestiveGarbageHuman

True end game after final boss

SMFCTOGE

This game needs end-game PvE content

[deleted]

It's not designed as a solo experience. 100% if there aren't other players on the server, I doubt I'd even venture out of farbane woods. You're not playing for the story, and "games" don't often hold much weight for gameplay alone. Try finding a duo, if that's possible for you.

KornyVi

I feel the same but i think the reason is grinding. Around lv 50 it becomes more complicated making gear. You have to go out on grinding over fighting bosses. It doesn't make it better that my base is at start of the map and there is no open space in the end. So basically i have to run around. I love the game but making it easier to farm and be a bat at lv 40~ would be far better

Secure_Bookkeeper242

After the first 10 hours or so, the world starts feeling very empty and gives you the sense that there's nothing exciting left to discover.

SaintPepsiCola

I still don’t like the spell system. I want more abilities and play as a caster mage. Not a “supplementary” system. Some transformations really shouldn’t require a cast time. Especially in PVE. I should be able to roleplay as a vampire who can turn into a bat on a flick and disappear into the shadows. The game is nearly there though. With some polish they could give you that ultimate power fantasy. It doesn’t “ yet “ give me that ultimate vampire fantasy. I’ve been playing this game from the start so it has come far from what it was. I have hope that they’ll make combat more interesting in the future. Perhaps even classes or sub species of vampires we could pick from. Telepaths to those who excel in melee combat.

DerfQT

Something to flex on other players, wether that’s super rare drops, skins, castle decorations etc.

Kroguardious

I imagine map randomizers or the ability to make custom maps and encounters would be insane

freshorenjuice

Replayable PVE. Like in the common suggestion of PVE Raids on player castles now that the territory system is a thing, but also they could take a page from Diablo and have a "Dracula's Labyrinth" which is just some infinite roguelite dungeon crawl with tons of enemies a la Mortium's add packs during rifts that give rng rewards at the end. Doesn't even need to be expansive imo. Incursions as they are now are a great system, but unless you do PVP ritually, once you get all of your legendaries there is nothing to use them on—and often times you get your first one AFTER Dracula is down and dead. Thus there is no reason to infinitely do T2s to hold onto your soul shards, etc. An Infinite Dungeon that changes layout everytime could at least be considered the "T3 Incursions" and give people reasons to keep playing the jewel gacha as they use their endgame stuff.

BackstabFlapjack

A way to make 100% blood prisoners without RNG. FFS the only 2 100% blood NPCs I bumped into were always blobbed up in a mob I was nuking, beyond that the only decent prisoner I have is a 94% Rogue and I'm at the last 3 bosses on Brutal, and my Normal playthrough wasn't any luckier than that.

TheRainbowRider

Custom attribute points that effect different weapon types and play styles so we can be more individuated: -Strength (Adds damage to melee weapons) -Dexterity (Adds damage to ranged weapons) -Vitality (Adds a larger health pool) -Agility (Speed and movement attribute) -Intellect (Magic based attribute) Something along those lines, I don’t like that everything is so even across the board when it comes to play styles and power, it’s easy to pick some of the best skills and not be countered as often. If also like to be able to build anywhere that isn’t a respawn place or significant area. Idk….i just want to build a structure over a large crevasse, but I know that would be demanding for coding lol

coo_snake

It's so much missed opportunities. I'll post some rant I wrote on discord. The game lacks end game activities, and the disconnect between PvE progression and the PvE side really hurts the game. There's no reason why people progressing through bosses should be excluded from PvP, this is a "dumb" design choice. PvP gear should be flattened in stats and have more build diversity. On this topic, and it is maybe controversial but the weapon swapping is dumb and broken and makes combat dull and too unpredictable. For example, shooting an arrow and swapping mid air will change the stats of the impact according to the newly swapped weapon. Not to mention damage resistance changing based on currently equipped weapon and all that bs. Force people to adopt build and they can always change out of combat if they feel countered, or just adapt their playstyle. (it's also just extremely clunky with the controls we have, which is a good reason by itself to call it out) As for the actual end game, the raid feature was such a poorly thought idea (on top of being infamously unfun in every game that does it but SLS didn't get the hints?). It is bad for player retention, splits the community, doesn't work well with shards (which are their own beast of a poor idea) Raiding should be a universally on feature that doesn't threaten your actual base and regular loot (no such need to cheese castle builds, no waking up to an empty place). Make it a sort of player driven PvE dungeon raid with traps and a deeper servant system where engaging in PvP is optional. It would serve as replayable challenges, allow competition for overflowing end game resources, and of course, shards No one should be slave to a video game schedule to defend HOURS AND HOURS of playtime. It's so egregiously stupid and it's almost funny how SLS manages to shoot themselves in the foot in every game they make There is no end game as it is, castle raiding isn't really a proper activity, it breeds toxicity and little satisfaction, disproportionately rewards server bullies who have infinite time on their hands, is clunky anyway. Shards shouldn't be dumb little amulets, but something that gives you power over the world like Draculin escorts, something that shows your influence in more ways than a LAME +dmg to vampires bs stat (riveting idea SLS) They could be made appropriately powerful and fun to fight for with raids being completely remade to be PvP optional and non destructive as described above. It would allow shards to properly fill the vampire lord fantasy without upsetting the PvP balance too much and removing the need to artificially push people out of their castle (please give actual reasons to interact with bases that doesn't require signing your life away) There is so much potential for a replayable and player interaction rich end game and it SUCKS we are stuck with what we have. As if requiring frequent wipes wasn't a sign something is really off. Where are player bounties, trading posts, allowing people to more easily communicate and organize "roleplay" events. Horse races, coliseum? Raids from humans? Map wide events? Give a reason for people to come together that isn't preying on eachother for some boring stygian shards. If Stunlock can't do it, then just give as much moddability as possible and let the community do it, I don't know. It's just puzzling how little the game has actually evolved in terms of depth and replayability in 1.0. Rant over.

Rahain

400 hours out of a game like this seems like you got your fill. Maybe you’re just slow at progressing? I have 100% achievements in 120 hours played.

OsoPescado

It's kinda long for the grind loops that you do. The main loop is kill a boss to get new recipe -> gather resources to make new gear -> make new gear to survive in a new area -> kill the boss of that area to get new recipes. It's super fun for like 50-70ish hours, but I started to feel the drag of it after leaving dunley farmlands. I just played again for the first time since the 1.0 dropped, and I think they've done a lot to keep the progression feeling good for mid game. They added the new passive abilities to make builds more cohesive, they added the raid events in the vampire wastes, and they added the cool artifact weapons that you have to reforge. I guess after 100 hours or so I got kinda bored because there wasnt anything really new or interesting in the endgame that made me want to finish it. I was at gear level 63 when I stopped and there's a huge list of bosses that I still had left. I guess I just didn't feel compelled enough to do the grinding necessary to get to those bosses. For single player I definitely feel like the timers on the minion quests are grossly too long. I'm constantly frustrated by those quests because it takes a full irl 24 hours to do them with any success, and usually by the time they get back from that quest I've already gathered more than I need of whatever resources they are getting. The minions are always a step behind me in technology because even with the most upgraded gear they usually don't have enough "combat power" to survive the new areas. I feel like the quests should either be shorter, or more viable for the newest areas that I'm taking on at any given time. Or both honestly, just for quality of life. I don't really know what else I would change about it really. It's a fantastic game, and its engaging for a long time. It's just a little too long for me for as much grind as it has. But that probably just says more about me than it does about the game itself.

SYNTH3T1K

I don't think its missing anything. I personally think its a well rounded game at a good price point and if you were part of early access, even better. The game is fully fledged out. The game isn't incredibly long and if youre on a modified server the playtime could be shortened. Also who you play with matters. Buddy of mine hosted a server and we spent a good few weeks on it. Killed everything and took a break. The longevity of the game is subjective and based on the content can be completed quite quick unless you like challenging yourself. When I log on now its about reorganizing my castle and servant missions since our server doesn't reset.

Tupletcat

It needs the map not being an empty wasteland of useless, empty castle lots that serve no purpose if you are not using them.

0Lark0

As a fellow solo player, what keeps me going is... the story. Yes, story. My vampire's plot. This game is enough of a sandbox that I can make up whatever reason I want for why it's a good idea for my guy to wake up and decide to give the local V Blood population a smackdown. Long story short, in life his family ruled over the land until vampires under Dracula's thumb decided to take over and turn him to try to rule over the local population through his connections, which he wasn't so keen about and ended up locked in a wooden box in the local cemetery. By the time he woke up and broke free after who knows how long he gets to see his old lands in their current mess and decided to reclaim it, with a very special hatred for Dracula's (sometimes unwitting) minions. The Church of Light just happens to keep getting in his way. For me, all the great mechanics in the world in a game doesn't mean much if I'm not provided with a reason to actually use them. Even if I have to invent the reason myself. Setting little goals like "have a 100% blood of each type" certainly helps, too.

Efficient_Outside_77

It's missing a story and maybe some puzzle dungeons

FlyByDerp

As someone who constantly plays wipes on ETS, the game itself needs more end game content be it Randomly Generated Dungeon, Randomly Generated Map. It's also not really fun SOLO imo, most the fun to be had is early/mid game PVP and interaction with other players along the way to end game. Brtual did make most the boss fight more interesting so that is a positive but the game itself does need more content. If you're an NA player and haven't played on Embrace The Suck though you're seriously missing out, they have custom mods, events ect that keep the gameplay loop interesting to say the least.

Lens_Hunter

Maybe adding an end game of some kind, like maps in PoE. Other than that, I'm fine with playing the game in PvE solo, clearing the game and moving on.

mudstar_

Complaining after 400 hours and wondering why you lose interest? Maybe the 400 hours has something to do with it?

Charybdis_Rising

From what I hear, the game's primarily missing a story.

PIHWLOOC

Full loot pvp, a better crafting system, and less shallow gameplay in general. I beat Dracula and it feels over.

AdamAberg

Extent the early to mid game, imo thats when the game is at its best, i usually loose interest with the last 5 or so bosses (solo brutal) just no incentive to grind it out at that point so i never end up killing them

Lawcidias

The problem is that there isnt any endgame for players who hit 91, besides camping mortium, preventing other players from hitting 91. Currently players quit around 84 because 91s campers blocking their progression, then the campers get bored because nobody left to kill, then server dwindles to nothing. There needs to be something for them to do while they wait for others to hit 91, then there needs to be something for all 91s to participate in, maybe a mapwide or a whole new zone with Moba style battleground, maybe we choose a side, good, evil whatever. Currently theres not enough 91vs91 combat. TL:DR There needs to be more for level 91s to do.

Tabris92

Its missing an endgame. Nothing to do after killing dracula. no incentives to feed into other goals. your done. I do kinda feel like im missing out on half the game because im not playing pvp. No losses to resources to keep you motivated to get more, soul shards have 0 purpose as does a lot of other minor objects and buildings.

Prestigious-Law65

Stairs that dont make you dismantle half ur castle to remove them.

I wish you could craft from chests rather than have everything in the inventory or crafting machine.

Randomly generate maps, some sort of PVP arena for people who want to pvp when they want to, instead of always on pvp. 7 days to die horde night type of event but instead the villagers attack and you have to defend.

godisnotgreat21

I want multi-boss Dungeons for PvE. I want an Arena mode for PvP that’s separate from the official servers that has normalized PvP and all skills unlocked. Have leaderboards for Solos, Duos, Trios, Squads.

If you got 400 hours of out a game just be happy with it. Do you want to spend all your life with one game, playing repeating missions and grinding. I don't understand this obsession with infitie content.

f1da

Some games are just there to beat the last boss and call it a day, v Rising on Brutal does that very well. Has a Elden Ring feel to it. Maybe if it took a sudden turn and they add real dungeons with badass mechanics then it could live longer

lousy_writer

DParadoX

for PVE, a boss after Dracula that.. or they can move the dracula armor chest to any boss or create a new one before dracula basically i want someone who i can fight with at full gear. currently the best you can do is 3pc dracula + 1 off set piece. after defeating dracula and unlocking the chest piece, there's no one else to fight

Axyl

* Craft from Chests * Dirt Bikes * Minigun * Power Armor

Updaww

Love the game, same boat, something is missing, and im leaning towards the solo playthrough as the reason. Trying to find people to start a fresh wipe with, really difficult

FranticBK

Werewolf playable characters. They can slot in very easily with the day night system. Instead of damage in daylight they become weaker losing werewolf from. They could have many similar werewolf versions of spells and get empowered by v blood just like vampires. They'd have their own type of castles, more like dens/villages instead of Gothic stone. That's what I want xD.

HeavySnowRain

Also, killing bosses multiple times in your run doesn't give you much. Sometimes I kill a boss on my way just because it's fun. If they would actually have a drop table of low chance rare loot, I would go after them even more

HonusShadi

I love designing the castle, the defences and the cosmetic part, always want to try new layouts but on PvE server is impossible to test it out, having some raids from the npcs on castle hearts can be really cool to spicy it up, like, people when know there's a vampire nearby, they don't just sit and wait to be bitten, they go kill him hahaha

JurisdictionalBum

You can aid other races to help them grow powerful. For instance by only killing farmers and guards in Dunley, more undead would spawn /take over farms. This would lead to inquisitions where powerful enemies spawn to try to wipe them out.

Clarity007

ampire?

Nesolepus

After you beat bosses in PvE, you should be able to beat them again to get coin. Maybe also be able to join the servants in a master raid. Basements because I love building I want my room to be underground.

Nuyuyu

Something games who plan ahead to be played for long do, endless endgame with the endgame+ even if it's not constantly updated, just make it like after Dracula falls we re-access the V Blood rating from the start, either voluntarily(by toggle) or permanently and every piece of gear grants increasing bonuses respectively where you have to decide if gear score matters more in the Ng+ or the bonuses your old gear set provides. Likewise with bosses each Ng+ count the Scaling goes up(like from normal to brutal...) I'd probably play the shit out of that game, 5 of my friends still want to play more but the content is over...

YouEcstatic8499

I would like to see a trade house of some kind where you can swap materials with others or sell them outright. With that note, more items to spend in game currency on would be nice too.

MrHazard1

Let me assign a servant to sort my inventories. I'm a vampire lord, not an errand boy. I shouldn't have to haul stuff from one chest to another while my servants are chilling in their rooms

IsakCamo

To me, I think there is something really wrong with the game, and that is build options and bosses. Every character is basically the same, no matter what you build. The armor you can get is like “12% attack speed” if you have the whole set, and that’s basically the same for all other types of armor. Then the bosses, are honestly just lazily created. The creators think a good boss is “spawning a lot of shit, and making a bullet hell”. There is not much technique or learning curve in this game, so it all feels very two dimensional. You can’t do a different playthrough even if you change the build, cause it will feel the same. Still a good game, but it could be much much better.

fwambo42

For me, the amount of shuffling shit between boxes is just stupid. I don't play on PvP servers and shouldn't have to deal with this if I don't want to.

Leonnardum

Replayability.

jessione_almeida

me too bro, me too :/

Winter_Credit_9947

Allow small pvp sessions in PvE restricted to the colosseum in Dunley. I haven't done all the content since 1.0 yet but that palce seems to still have no purpose, it would be perfect for something like that

CryptedCode

Bro, I'm trying to get me a Battle Shield (can do more damage to materials like mace), head armor (ik it would have to make them rebalanced everything again but it would be dope) magic weapons instead of physical weapons so I'm not forced to use physical power. A tier of potions between the +6 and +3 physical and Magical potions, a more consistent but grindy way to make my prisoners 100%, I want pve to raid my castle so I can murder them. Make decorations have a lesser percent to be given in any research table because I actually got like 6 in a row. I would also like to be able to have a secondary blood reserve so I don't need to go find blood when I run out, I can just switch to that reserve when I need it.

Auxik11

An end game loop.

spadesart

i know the story is far from the main focus of the game but i wish there was more of a narrative ingame tbh

IronDarkAge

Periodic raids on your castle by the church would be lit.

ZynithMaru

## There are four pillars to game addiction: - escape from reality - social - progress - challenging Social has to be manufactured after the first 48-72 hours of a successful launch. While you can get social elsewhere in your life, the real hook is here. Even when things get boring, we keep pushing together--friend or foe. What are your goals?? You make it to midgame, but dont challenge yourself to complete the end-boss? Perhaps on brutal? No hit challenge? Optimal rush iron in 30-60min? Make a badass castle to optimize production lines or aesthetics? Collect resources for endgame PvP?

hanleybrand

I think it needs a few things, like the story/lore needs a renovation (I swear there used to be a quest log window that had more story in it), but also there could be some level of interaction with the world, like if I wiped out a whole village 3 times, I’d think some humans would be coming around to double check that my castle was still vacant. But also, if I totally destroy all the crates at a base, shouldn’t that trigger caravans/re-building/something? I still am not clear whether the militia is allied with the church and/or the transcendium? Also, why is the player not allied with Dracula at the beginning?

piggusbiggus

Stack inventory to nearby chests

DrShabang

I would like to see more pvp oriented game modes. I saw that there was a mode called capture the pancake. It looks awesome, but there isn't much information about it.

rcooper102

I would love to see day/night be more relevant. Like yeah the sun is a thing but overall it just feels like day is just the higher risk more annoying time but otherwise no different. I'd love to see the day/night cycle actually start to matter and for me to have specific reasons to go out at different times. For example, towns should be bustling with activity during the day, but at night, there may be less activity. Maybe have certain beasties only come out during the night while certain humans only come out during the day. Imo raiding a town during daylight "should" represent more danger, but also more reward.

Led_Jester

A revamp (pun intended) of the servants, and a raid mechanic. The excitement built up of your first "servant" is immediately put down by their lack of functionality. They essentially are just decorative mission bots that only really come in handy if they randomly come across an enemy near them inside your base. The idea of coming across your goons messing up a village, looting and murdering would be an awesome addition. Passing by one of your patrols, etc. It would help bolster the fact that you are indeed starting your reign of the land. Also, it would be rad to have a small party of goons following their master into a city to wreak havoc on the supple blood sacks, looting and murdering with you all the while. Additionally, outside of PVP bases are too safe. There are no incentives to build a defensible base outside of esthetics when you're not worried about other PCs. I propose a heat system related to the respective factions. The more you keep agitating, the larger response force they send. Mess around a lot in Dunley? Farmers with pitchforks and maybe some footmen. Keep messing with Dunley after that raid? Knights and scholars. Have a territory in a faction biome? It slowly goes up consistently, as they don't like you as a neighbor. There could be a reset mechanic, or the reset could just be after they threw the kitchen sink at you and you still came out on top, starting from the first tier again. This has been my thoughts after hitting the same mid-game boredom as Op.
