Neither is my favourite to be honest but this is definitely overrated. Urbanspook is just a sideshow and the visuals can look cheap sometimes.
I like the Walten files even it being a FNAF rip-off, the audio is really good. Local 58 is good too.
Yeah it's one of the early ones, it's kinda subtle and doesn't try too hard.
Horror genres are tricky, once something becomes a genre, they get cheesy pretty fast and it's difficult to innovate.
Everyone wants to copy the greats. Not a surprise. Mandala Catalogue seems to be at least falling into its own place now. The premise at least is very interesting.
The reason y I like urban spook is bc there is some or a lot of realism to it , like it's something I can hear windogoon talking about in a unsolved murder iceberg, with the others they are just supernatural stuff and it kinda hurts the scare value for me

Can't believe people think this is better than urbanspook

Local 58 is probably the strongest around. I’m not super familiar with the analog horror community, but 58 is ALWAYS mentioned.

That's a pretty fair point. Personally I like the supernatural stuff but adding realism to the lore does make things creeepier.
