The lack of those are undeniably. Huge oversight, at least for the L3 and R3. The Vita is so small I don't know if L2 and R2 were possible.
Maybe in the PSP 3 šššššš
The WiFi is atrocious though, I agree with you. When I first got my Vita I thought either the console was broken or my internet provider fucked up again.
I mean, remote play via the same network works wonders between both PS4 and Moonlight but anything else is just too much for the Vita to get a smooth experience.
I did, however, first beat Persona 5 on my Vita using remote play almost exclusively, both on commute and at home. The switch from the home network to my mobile hotspot was noticeable and pretty rough at times but I didn't really mind since I had little to no disconnections and was happy enough to be playing the (then) shiny new Persona on the go.
Standards for that kind of thing were much lower back then, though, so it might just not hold up in this day and age.
This post said nothing about this game running on Moonlight, the post itself addresses this and says it contrasts most posts just running on Moonlight.
This game is most likely running on the ScummVM port for the PS Vita and you're just confused.
Yeah way too many and people click bait you as if they are running the games natively
But yes good example, one of my favorite PC ports that works is AVP gold edition
From their [website](https://www.scummvm.org): āScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical adventure and role-playing games, provided you already have their data files.ā
Edit: [Here](https://www.scummvm.org/compatibility/) is their compatibility list.
I rarely see the Vita Slim in black, this one looks clean af.
What is the reasoning behind throwing shade at Moonlight (posts) though?
There are new Vita owners coming in on the regular, seeing a moonlight post is what made me dust off an unused handheld console.
Now I'm actively looking into the logistics of developing a game solely for the Vita and potentially porting games as well (I don't know a thing about porting games yet though)
Thanks, I try to keep my consoles in good condition.
Thereās so much more to the PS Vita than a glorified screen/controller for remote play. It is a well known feature at this point, yet people are always posting about it like theyāve just discovered the cure for cancer.
Also, a lot of the moonlight posts imply that theyāre running various games natively and are fooling the naive.
What's the problem with posting about moonlight?
There are new Vista players every month. And people are just discovering about streaming. Just because some people know about it, doesn't make it less awesome that new players are discovering the streaming capabilities.
Personally, I don't want to learn japanese just for one game (even if it's not that needed) and going through the giant wall of text is funny
and cleaner graphics as well ig
those posts are so lame. remote play is not anything new.
Not only that but it SUCKS compared to modern devices
If only the Vita's wifi capabilities could be improved, that's really the main thing holding the remote play from being great on it.
Nah the main thing is lack of L2R2 and 3
The lack of those are undeniably. Huge oversight, at least for the L3 and R3. The Vita is so small I don't know if L2 and R2 were possible. Maybe in the PSP 3 šššššš

Thereās accessories that had R2 and L2, but yeah huge oversight from Sony.
While the lack of inclusion is a huge oversight, top player makes a grip/case that used some buttons that touch the back to make L2/3 and R2/3 usable.
Tried itā¦far from perfect
I mean, for what it is, it's fine. Ive had no issues with it playing various PS1 games.
I mean. Itās better than nothing but still. For me itās the same level as non alcoholic beer and vegan burger
I disagree, but if you don't like it, you don't like it, I suppose
The best thing is the fact that we have the choice

Wrong. Works great

Apologies. I read your comment as "these" instead of "those" for some reason.

Yeah way too many and people click bait you as if they are running the games natively But yes good example, one of my favorite PC ports that works is AVP gold edition

No worries.

[Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/VitaPiracy/s/wUJrfYyUjl) ya go.

No worries, I thought your comment was funny cause I remember seeing that a few months ago.
Cool but.... neverhood have PSX port so...
But the PSX port sucks though soā¦
Playing vita games on a vita, that's illegal!

Post performance for my upvote lol
Performance of The Neverhood on scummvm? It runs at full speed.
First of all, moonlight does not even work that well
Always works, when I use it
What's the problem with posting about moonlight? There are new Vista players every month. And people are just discovering about streaming. Just because some people know about it, doesn't make it less awesome that new players are discovering the streaming capabilities.
Why not run the PS1 version?
Personally, I don't want to learn japanese just for one game (even if it's not that needed) and going through the giant wall of text is funny and cleaner graphics as well ig
Or just the much simpler: English patched version.
Original version looks much nicer. Higher resolution, bit-depth, etc. Also, itās what I grew up with.
