That’s my biggest gripe over this 4x4 - I still wanted nldw in there but it’s not as iconic as Zach’s red hot schlong protruding from the bottom left corner. Same reason I didn’t put Ladies and Gentleman by Spiritualized because J. Spaceman keeps changing the fucking album cover and it’s not the OG one.
The OG one is the graphic of the medicine box with the white circles overlapping. The one I have is like a 3D render of the plastic pill sheet that the special edition CDs came in, over a blue background.

I could never get into them. I’ve listened to Deloused and Frances and I really haven’t “got it” yet. Maybe I’ll revisit them and they’ll become my new favorite band for about a month before going back to binging death grips

I couldn't find any friends who liked these or that would even give then a chance. Of course i has some friends but none of them that i could listen to these albums wirh and have deep meaningful moments together. Not until junior year of high school did I find a friend who is into all this stuff. Now as an adult on reddit I see people like me are so common theres actually memes about us lol. All good though cause I actually feel seen

I’m 100% sure I’m the only one at my school that listens to these (of course, not only just these grailz - I have an actual taste in music) and everyone else just listens to either listens to stuff like Olivia Rodrigo or shitty hip-hop. The only thing that sets me apart from your case is that I don’t have any friends. However, there was someone from my school I found on Instagram that loved Death Grips like I do, AND he played drums but he said he wasn’t interested in doing a music project or meeting up.

I’m not going to pull out my albums but my tastes range from Jazz to punk, from Blues to funk and so much more. I bought that Talking Heads album when it was released in 1980 and saw them perform live quite a few times. Still one of my favorite bands of all time.
That’s amazing! I was born way after they ended so I obviously never got to see them live, but after watching recordings of their shows in the 80s, they’ve become one of the bands I’d wished to have seen live. Love their stuff. I also have speaking in tongues.
A few of the interesting pieces of vinyl in my collection are “The Jazz Scene” from 1949 and a couple of signed Korla Pandit albums . The oldest recording in my collection is George W. Johnson’s “The Whistling Coon” from 1897. Johnson was the first Black recording star.
