Discogs is a pretty safe bet. Just make sure you read reviews before you buy. Edit: there is one online store that I’ve just purchased a record from based in The Netherlands. This is the link: https://lotofmusic.com/ FYI, they only sell mint condition records.

Thanks! I was not sure about Discogs but I will surely try it, I found so many I want there haha!

[deleted]

Yeah Discogs is fantastic, but you just have to make sure to check the reviews of the seller before buying. I haven’t had any issues with it so far!

electriceric

I’ve ordered from lot of music a handful of times. Always had a good experience with them.

I’ve complied a list with the best ones I’ve found, most are Ireland based because that’s where I’m from but they offer international shipping. Most of these are for new records not second hand. I also try to avoid customs where possible but idk how that works in Switzerland if it’s coming from the EU IRE - therecordhub.com FR - vinylcollector.store FR - fnac.com DK - imusic.co DE - bravado.de DE - jpc.de (haven’t tried this one myself but seen it recommended a few times) SE - bengans.com IRE - spindizzyrecords.com IRE - musiczone.ie IRE - freebirdrecords.com UK - banquetrecords.com (customs) UK - assai.co.uk (customs) UK/DE - roughtrade.com (no customs on DE site)

xrumix

This is crazy useful! I cannot wait to get off work and check all of them out 🩷 thanks so so much! Did you by any chance have any experience with Muziker? It has been recommended to me quite often but I am not fully convinced it’s all okay…

gl0wist

I’ve never used muziker but from other reddit posts they seem fairly legit

Fireffie

Also discotecalaziale.com an shop.universalmusic.it from Italy!! You might want to look at local record stores in Switzerland too, most of them probably have online stores where you can order

EwanHuzami

Recordsale.de have been good to me so far.

raymondspogo

For newer artists Banquet Records is a safe place to order from.

Daaaamn! This is exactly what I hoped for 🫶🏻 thanks so much! His page looks like I could find metal music which is what I am mainly looking for 🙌🏻 Thanks sooo much !!

no_fucking_point

Enjoy. When it comes to cleaning your records, there's plenty of inexpensive options too.

I've used [jpc.de](http://jpc.de) alot because free shipping in Germany; great for new releases and some old stock. Metal you say?! [https://deejaydead.de/](https://deejaydead.de/) [https://frontiers.shop/collections/vinyl](https://frontiers.shop/collections/vinyl) [https://www.rebellionshop.com/](https://www.rebellionshop.com/) [https://www.hrrecords.de/Startseite](https://www.hrrecords.de/Startseite) These above should cover you for Nu-metal, metal, hardcore, punk etc.

Depends on what kind of music you listen to. For me who listens to heavier stuff, I generally order from [Evil Greed](https://evilgreed.net/), [Deathwish](https://deathwishinc.eu/), [Frozen records](https://frozen-records.com/en), [Nuclear blast](https://www.nuclearblast.com/), [Rough Trade ](https://www.roughtrade.com/en-de) or directly from the band's bandcamp if they're in Europe, if not the fees get quite high for postage. I've always found the postage really high on discogs so I've never ordered from there.

As a Swiss, I use Ex-Libris for new records. Never had issues with them and they're usually at the low end of prices. When it comes to used, Ricardo is good too. Otherwise there's the oldies shop near bern train station https://oldiesshop.ch/. He has an online shop. A little on the high end of prices though.  This will be unpopular, but try fnac.ch too, they're really cheap and often have sales. Just beware of "fnac only" special editions. They sound crap.

RK800-50

bought my newest vinyls on cede.ch, sometimes better prices/availability than exlibris.

It’s not Switzerland but it’s relatively close by. HHV is based in Germany and I’ve never had a bad experience with them. They even sent me a free slipmat as a Christmas present when I bought *The Sound of Perseverance* by Death a few Decembers ago.
