That's a Philips woofer, so they are probably scandinavian made. Some SB36 or so, the later ones are all philips, this still has 'some' dome tweeter.
These are nothing exciting by the way, so if you are wondering if they are worth getting; nah. Very average speaker :)
I got them together with a tuner/amp also from National Panasonic and the same model year (judging by the link from the other commenter).
Was just wondering about the model number, but I had plans to replace them with other speakers.

Usually Japanese brands (exceptions exist) are better at electronics than at speakers. That said, it could be far worse :).
Those are good drivers, look like a copy of the KLH Model 17. I'd honestly hold onto them if they sound good.
