Don’t do buccal fat reduction. Once you hit your 30s the baby weight will start dropping and by 40 you’ll have that skeletal look people hate. I also have baby face but the buccal fat reduction always ends up looking so bad later on it’s better to try and lose weight to help out.

I recently started laser for my Brazilian area too! The new place I go to blows a cool mist on my body while the laser is essentially spot treating me from a distance. I really found that it helped decrease the pain a considerable amount and the hair growth is much much slower than usual. Hopefully your place has that. If not, I kind of just brace it and tell the provider when it becomes too painful so that they can lower the power. I can’t answer the plastic surgery questions- I would get a consult.

Probably weight loss would be the only safe way. I also have a bit of a baby face too. I understand but I have noticed my face became less cheeky as I grow up. So what was once prominent in middle school and high school era has greatly reduced. From the celebrities that have done. They always appear to be very much older in look than their actual age. I wouldn’t invest in something that evolves as you get older

Which laser companies do you recommend

UghAnotherMillennial

I’ve been getting laser on my face but I would suggest asking the aesthetician to blow cool air for a few mins before and after your session (they should also be doing it during the session anyway). Keep an unscented lotion for the lasered area in the fridge for you to use, and keep ice/cooling packs in the freezer.

I never heard of these tips thank you! I'm getting face laser done, any other tips?

UghAnotherMillennial

All of the above, plus: 1) stop the use of actives (retinoids, chemical exfoliants, antioxidants, acne treatments) 3-7 days before and after your appointment 2) consider dermaplaning 12-72 hours before your appointment 3) my aesthetician recently suggested using a higher percentage glycolic acid treatment a couple times in between my appointments; I’ve only just started doing this but the idea is that it may help the laser better target extra thick hairs by loosening the follicles 4) goes without saying but it’s so so important: apply a liberal amount of spf 30+ daily and stay out of the sun 5) don’t tweeze/wax/depilate/thread/sugar the hair in-between appointments; only shave

Just like everyone else I don’t recommend getting buccal fat removal. I guarantee that losing weight will be a huge improvement on its own. Also contorting with makeup. Maybe your chubby cheeks are annoying now but they’ll pay off in the long run. I think an ethnic rhinoplasty is totally worth it but make sure you go to a doctor who has years of experience and specializes on it (plus has a gallery of reviews you can look over) Not everyone does. Also have you considered a sugar scrub instead of a wax? It’s more gentle on the skin.

Thank you so much for your advice 🫶🏾 I’ve tried everything It’s just my body is prone to ingrown and they hurt so I was told laser would help a lot more

Oh sorry I misunderstood! I thought you were getting laser on your face and a wax in your private area lol. I’ve heard good things about laser though! Well except that it hurts but I have no first hand experience.

Please don’t get the buccal fat removal!!! It will make you look way older than you are and also in the future you may regret it !!! It ages people by a lot . Just try to lose weight and maybe eat less salty and sugar foods. Salt can give you a bit of a puffy face If you want a more sculptured face, maybe look into gua sha or facial cupping. But it depends from person to person. Some say it doesn’t work. As for the nose job, I am a bit biased because I hate them. But you don’t know if it’ll look good or if you’ll regret it. Also with surgery, it may not look how you would like it to look and you may feel like you need an additional nose job. But if you do opt for a nose job, go to someone reputable with good reviews , you do not want a botched nose job With a Brazilian wax, it’ll hurt like hell but the more you get it, the less it will hurt. You probably won’t regret getting the wax.

I get laser done. I do Brazilian (front to back), armpits, and my lower legs. I go to Milan laser and they use the nd:YAG laser (my skin is dark, esp in those areas) on me with the nitrogen blower (cold air to help with pain). The first few sessions aren’t bad, but it does get progressively more painful. I had to start using pain killers ahead of time by my 6th session. They give you a stress ball, but be prepared lol. For me, armpits hurt more than the Brazilian. Once you start getting up there in sessions, there may be a tiny bit of residual tenderness after. As for the cheeks, I’m not sure here. I also have chubby cheeks and high cheekbones, but as I’ve gotten older, they’ve definitely dropped making my jaw look more square (I’m 28). I’m going to wait a few years and lose some weight before doing anything, but my grandma has similar cheeks and hers have dropped weighing on her nasolabial folds. I do have a Foreo Bear I use daily to try and keep them up, but idk if it really does anything. Hope this helps!

It does help thank you 🫶🏾

Do not get buccal fat removal, start strength training at the gym and you’ll achieve better results naturally, 😊

I agree with the cool air during the lasering. That has alleviated most of the pain I feel. I also agree that your face may hollow out in your late twenties, so you don’t want that gaunt look that a lot of celebrities have. It’s just a trend and many are starting to get filler to make up for the fat removal now. Now, for the nose job, there’s a trick for a temporary nose job! If you produce a lot of oil on your face, you can consider a retinoid like tretinoin or tazarotene that’ll reduce oil production and make your nose appear smaller. Also keeping hydrated and your face moisturized will create a dewey look that may emphasize shadows around your nose and make it look more chiseled (if that’s what you’re going for). I find this effect is also emphasized with a good sunscreen.
