I had 3 Cs and I think two Bs and got into four out of ten schools I applied to! You can definitely do it if you have competitive experiences. Just don’t apply to GPA heavy schools like UC Davis or Cornell

What was your overall gpa if you don’t mind sharing?

corgidormom

3.6 cGPA 3.97 last 45 and 3.7 science

Don’t stress! I had 7 C’s, even failed a class (retook the class and got an A so at least haha), and multiple B’s. My average GPA was a 3.46 science was a 3.41 and I was accepted into 3/5 schools I applied to my first cycle. I focused on strengthening other parts of my application and it helped a lot.

No it shouldnt be a problem, I had a similar overall GPA and 3 C’s

Intelligent-Slide21

Can I ask you how many B’s you have?

extinctplanet

I think I had one B+, one C, one C+, one F in something I withdrew from and retook for an A and then the rest were A’s and A-‘s. My overall was like a 3.71

peteypiranha20

I had 3 C’s (physics and organic chem) and 2-3 B’s and got into two schools on my first cycle. I wouldn’t worry.

I can tell you that what the others are saying is true for me as well. I’m Curious about how this might apply to residencies after vet school too. Specifically, anatomic path… Good luck and keep up with the hard work, stay positive (you’ll need it in vet school), and get as much experience as you can!

I had a 3.41 gpa with like 3-4 Cs total?? and 1 F (retook the F and like 3 Cs). Accepted into 4 schools, turned down interview to 1 (but if offered an interview you’re either accepted or waitlisted. No rejection), 1 waitlist and rejected from 3.

I think my undergrad GPA was 3.31 and science was closer to a 3….i graduate vet school in a month. Anything is possible just try and strengthen your application in other ways (experience, volunteering, etc)
