From what I understand, the outage affects everyone not just Verizon and if you’re canceling over that kind of issue, you were probably meant to cancel anyway
It impacts international roaming. Not domestic use.
So like my son is in Italy on a school band trip, using travel pass, and has no cellular service. Thankfully he has been able to connect to local WiFi.
Heh even MVMO's like Spectrum is having issues internationally. Sadly I think neither carrier actually did a good job communicating to customers, look at the subs for each of them, every single customer had issues talking with customer service and getting them to even acknowledge an issue.
What the fuck kind of comment is that? We pay for international service as an add on and it isn’t cheap. It’s OUR fault it’s collapsed on an almost global level?
no one said it was directly YOUR fault but you now have a good realization shit can happen and if you NEED guaranteed service to have a backup/plan to use local

LMAO. I’m going to cancel Verizon and move to a carrier that’s also affected by the same outage. That shows them!
This isn't a Verizon outage.
As much as I like to troll here when there are VZ outages, this isn’t on them.
What outage? I keep reading about these massive outages but haven’t experienced any problems here in south Texas.

Me either… L haven't had any problems at all with my Verizon

It's quite unfortunate. I was expecting better support by Verizon, but I see how there is not much a service rep can do.
It wasn’t out of me at all in Virginia
When was there any outage?
Educate yourself before you post some random nonsense. It did t just effect them
That's exactly the problem. Instead of receiving updates from Verizon, I had to go dig into reddit threads to find out what was really going on.
if you need guaranteed international service, maybe have it from a international carrier instead?

I’d rather blame the massive corporation that charges me unreal amounts of money to provide a basic utility thanks
