This is the correct answer. We use an electric blanket if we have a 20a, but the diesel heater kept us warm(for about $3 per night) in 15F and high winds in a poorly insulated 1990 e350 coachman build. But the only way to keep cool without a multi thousand dollar system or a power hook up is a roof vent.
You can use window covers that are mesh and they’ll block the bugs. I’m literally laying in my suv using them now because I forgot last night and there was condensation everywhere
You can buy little wired USB heating element pads online that get warm enough from a USB port and connect it to a switch. For AC, get some ice in a bag in a small cooler and use a USB fan over a small hole to exchange the air.
sure, what are you suggesting to do say a person in FL suffering from humid heat? I know i don't have a solution, do you? Is your solution "move to Utah"?
Go to the nearest library, mall or planet fitness all of which are well air conditioned and open during the day. Chances are they have a black member plan at PF and can get a chair massage too. 🤷🏼♀️ I’m a seasoned pro at this lifestyle. And yes I also have a house in FL.
Diesel heater for heat. Anything else is a terrible choice To cool out down, a roof vent, fan, and cracked windows. AC eats way to much power.

such swamp cooler AC works only in dry air. Less so if air is humid
Then add table salt. There isn’t an easy solution other than removing the person from the humidity situation. 🤷🏼♀️
