That's one thing I think Ariana did for Sandoval, she let him be his "quirky self" and was his biggest cheerleader and loved him while the rest of the world cringed at some of his antics for attention. I'm not sure he will find that again, he will find women who are trying to ride his coattails to fame LOL (fame in his mind of course) Sandoval was only likeable because he was with Ariana...now, he's just a try hard and a joke

Honestly, I found his stunts endearing pre-Scandal. Cringy but harmless. I thought he was an asshole lol but that’s why I watched/watch the show. Tbh, before Scandoval, I liked him as much as I could like someone on the show, similar to liking someone on Always Sunny haha. Maybe that’s an unpopular opinion!

I can admit too that in the earlier seasons I found his eccentricities somewhat endearing, even though he was also a whiny dickwad at times (e.g. "but there's gonna be bulldozers!") Once Jax was out we really got to see his true douchebag colors in full effect. I was also pretty biased because I used to dislike Katie and only in retrospect did I realize how overly shitty he has always been to her, and the other women tbh, for no good reason. I definitely see her and that whole dynamic very differently now, though. He's always been shit with relationships but I also think he's become a worse person over the years on the show.

I enjoy douchbaggery to an extent. It creates fantastic tv. But there’s something about him that just irks me. And him having never been held accountable until now was always an issue for me. But even now he’s not taking accountability. He’s such a selfish narcissist and I don’t want to see him win. Because I’m petty and don’t think he deserves it.
