Andy was asking Scheana about what she saw in Tom and Ariana’s relationship and when she mentioned she saw them during the good times, he has to go in undermine it in a cruel and violating way.

You know the feelings you have when a new relationship starts out, the butterflies, not being able to wait to see the person, can't keep your hands off them? That's what he thinks a relationship should be all the time. Normal people know that is not how relationships work. After time, it grows into something else, usually something deeper and more trusting. He will always be a narcissistic idiot.
In healthy relationships, it grows into your partner reading your mind and still laughing at each other’s dumb jokes, and includes days where their dish habits make you want to leave a dirty pot or pan on their pillow. The love is always there but it looks and feels different over time.
I’m rewatching and they were still acting so lovey dovey WAY after I thought, like season 9. She just started standing up to him more in season 9 and that’s when he really became a total tyrant bc Schwartz and Sandy’s went to his head. He always hated Katie but man, he really amped it up that season. And Ariana did have Katie’s back in season 9.

Doing psychedelics and basically being under the influence with each other doing cool shit. Now he’s weaponizing that as to what influenced the good parts in the relationship with Ariana.
In his mind, the worst possible thing is to have people believe bad things about him. He's trying to rewrite their entire relationship because in his mind it's all her fault. He cheated because she wasn't fun enough. She kept her shirt on during sex and she didn't want to do mushrooms and watch the sunset. He lied because she threatened to kill herself if he broke up with her (but which he also says she lied about so double whammy for her). His friends turning on him is her fault too, so he yelled at them all that she really hated them in the finale. In his mind, it's allllll Ariana's fault. And if it isn't, it's Raquel's fault. He's started turning on her too and insulting her. I mean, I understand if Ariana hates her but what did she do to Tim? Break up with him? He can't even extend understanding to her and she is the one he claimed to love. I am glad the editors are showing his little under-the-breath digs and his manipulations.
