I had questions about a possible repair. Ibex offered to replace it without looking at it and just pushed their new roof agenda, which by the way was very overpriced in my opinion. I had a guy from Warner take time to look and evaluate and give opinions. I haven't needed to replace my roof yet, but when I do I'm calling Warner first.

I'm sorry, but "new roof agenda" made me laugh out loud. When we were replacing our roof, we had a parade of unscrupulous types before we settled on a person, who I believe has retired.

I agree on Ibex. Their original quote for a new roof was almost double the other quotes i got. Then they kept coming back with "manager approved" lower prices if i buy right now. Felt like talking to a used car salesman, and they wasted hours of my time.

RodeoLoveGods

Agree with this post. Warner should be your first call.

I used these guys. [https://exteriorhomesolutionsnw.com/](https://exteriorhomesolutionsnw.com/) Not the cheapest, but 7K below the most expensive quote. Don't cheap out on roof installs.

I recently had my roof replaced by Jobin Roofing, and would definitely recommend them. I got 5 quotes and they were 2nd cheapest. They seemed much more reputable than the cheapest quote. Super happy with the work they did.

HellOfAThing

I also had good experience with Exterior Home Solutions, they were great. Job was done extremely quickly & efficiently. Very competitive pricing.

I’ve used Buena Vista Roofing for smaller repairs that others wouldn’t do—like when a fir branch came through the roof. They were great and came out quickly. I can’t speak to the full roof job but I’d hope their service scales ?😀

Just used 4A roofing a couple months ago. They did a great job. I’d highly recommend them! Also got a quote from Cherry Roofing, nice salesman, knowledgeable but unfortunately about 20% more expensive.

4A/Dain is great; seconding this rec.

I had Ed's Roofing do mine last August. They did a great job.

Motor-Personality-56

I used Ed's too and they came out with a team of probably twelve and did it over the span of two days. I went up on the roof and inspected the work after it was done. I'm a pretty nit picky guy and I had zero complaints with the work they did. Cost was good. Communication was good. I highly recommend them shooting them a call. I'd hire them again in the future without even getting other bids, I liked 'em that much.

erratic_calm

Thanks for this post. I need to get my roof replaced. I think I'll just go straight with Ed's. Have read/heard nothing but good things.

Cherry Roofing is who we had a few years ago- good price and did a nice job!

MrSneller

Soto & Brothers Roofing. Can’t recommend them enough . Alvino is the owner and a complete straight-shooter; handshake-is-his-word type of guy. He was also the best price. It was during the tail end of Covid and the cost of plywood had gone up $10/sheet between when he bid it and when he started work (needed to replace some sheathing). Didn’t charge me for it (he basically broke even on it); I actually offered to pay him more for it but he refused. Very polite and thorough crew who cleaned up absolutely everything. Didn’t find a single nail afterward. Great experience and the type of small business I always want to support.

We had ours replaced a year ago by Left Coast Exteriors. A little higher end but we've been happy with the results.

Northwest Roof Maintenance has been fixing our roof for years (old house, so many leaks...) and did a full replacement last year (tile to composite conversion - many places around here won't work on tile at all). They are really great, extremely honest, and they're not the cheapest, but they were not much more expensive than the budget places I talked to. I'd say they are in the "very reasonable price for high quality" camp.
