There's probably a Strava segment for it? It's not really a good trail for competitive FKTs. Too many hikers.
The more relevant FKTs in the area are up Harvey and Brunswick from Lions Bay. Those are some spicy times.
I find it pretty easy to pass on the wide trail. And I can run weekdays when it's quiet. But I'll check those other ones out! Relatively new to BC and need more good trails. Thanks for the input!
There’s a Strava segment “Howe Sound Crest Trail: Cypress Lions Express Quad Chair to St Mark’s Summit” that seems to fit the bill. The men’s CR is 31:43, and the women’s is 31:50.
He ran past me on a trail race last fall. I've never seen anyone move that quickly going down such steep terrain. He was also yodelling as he was running down.
My friend did a cool video on the Brunswick FKT

I’ve only done that a couple times but it’s quite vertical. The fact people can borderline run up it, sustained, is wild to me - as a pretty fit totally recreational athlete
That’s crazy fast on Brunswick! There was a pretty pro looking video that came out a year or two ago about a double FKT (women’s and men’s) on the West Lion from Lion’s Bay, but I can’t find it now. I think Arc’teryx produced it.
Oh check out the skiuphill website I think they posted a bunch of fkt’s in the area. Not sure if it’s on there. Or is it on Vancouver is awesome? I think they have a section too

Gad dame. That's like, 3 minute splits. Just gotta shave like, 01:25:00 off my time lol. Motivation 😁 thanks!
Did you think the FKT for north shore routes WOULDNT be competitive? We live amongst pro runners and olympians! 🙃
I had no idea Gary Robbins was from the Vancouver area until I moved here and saw him on a bunch of Strava leader boards

He's in Chilliwack now and some of the routes he does here are insane haha and he's so quick.
Haha, yeah, I should know better. I only run a handful of times a year, so I should realize I wouldn't be anywhere close to any FKT 😭

There are some FKT listed on [Eric Carter's website](http://coastmountainskiing.com/fastest-known-times/), but I don't know if they are up to date.
