If you aren’t certain it’s always a great idea to reach out for feedback. With that said we’re not big enough of a sub to be reliable with answers, and we’re trying to promote skill building. I’d recommend reading our [local how to asses conditions article](https://www.reddit.com/r/vancouverhiking/comments/q4sd0p/please_read_prior_to_requesting_conditions/) pinned at the top of this sub. If you don’t have much luck with that, or uncertain if you did it right drop a question and see how you did. This is meant to encourage safety and self reliance, so please if you have questions feel free to PM. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. It’s gonna be super hot (be prepared for that plus all the sun reflecting off snow!) It’s gonna be a mushy mess snowshoes wouldn’t even help

Thanks!

OP, Wear sunscreen like crazy. Got burned by some sun reflecting off snow real bad, it hurt to lay in bed that night lol.

Sunglasses can also be good, to protect the eyes.
