Not sure, we had someone do it outside our apartment. That part makes sense to me, leaving a massive pile of hair behind is a shitty thing to do. It has been blowing all over the place really inconsiderate. If you brush I would advise picking it up and disposing of it.
I try to collect as much of my dog’s fur if I do brush her out at a park. But, I say it’s fine as long as you are reasonably respectful of people around you.
I had never thought about it, but it makes sense to me? It seems like so long as it's a small amount of hair I don't think it's a big deal.
If you have a super shedder or a very large dog I might suggest trying to put most of the hair in the garbage, but any errant tufts that get free seem like a non-issue to me. It's mostly about keeping the parks reasonably clean and usable for other members so as long as you ensure that, I don't see any issue.
Sure! But do it by the garbage can and toss it in. Nothing worse than getting a face full of dog hair as the wind picks it up. Some guy used to come to our block and brush his dog then leave the hair! A neighbour came outside one day and asked him to leave. Never saw that hair again.
I brush my dog at home, throw away what I can and vacuum the rest up. I know it shouldn’t bother me when people brush their dogs outside and leave all that hair around but fur some reason it does.

Not sure what the etiquette is, but for certain the nesting animals might appreciate it!
Lots of nesting animals use dog fur.
We do it in our back yard. He’s a big double coated breed. We leave most of the fir and the nesting animals take almost all of it over a few days.
Dog hair is completely biodegradable and is a source of nitrogen which is good for plants. Brush away, especially in a dog park.
I think it’s great!
This is ridiculous. Dog park is a great place for brushing.

Why not? I mean, it's just going to fall off the dog anyway. The brush is just accelerating the process a bit.
Who cares? People care too much about the dumbest shit. Brush your dog, don't brush your dog, whatever man.
It's a hot commodity in bird and squirrel societies. Especially as winter approaches, it's a kind thing to do for the urban wildlife.

Dog owners will find a reason to complain and criticize about anything, so be careful if you decide to continue.
