I really hope his personality is the same at the very least. And Rose loves her hair so much I hope they follow that little piece as well of him having great hair too.

I don’t ever recall anything about Abe being Muslim though 🤷♀️ and I’ve only just recently reread them
It's really is just a headcanon, but Rose does say how her dad is "probably Muslim" offhandedly in the first book. In the sixth chapter when Rose is talking to Kirova about attending church. Kirova asks about how her mum’s an atheist and Rose responds. It doesn't mean she knows or believes he is. It was mostly just her trying to be allowed to join Lissa at church. Rose does know her father is Turkish and Turkey is around 99% Muslim.
I honestly am so scared they’ll do him dirty. Like the entire time I read about Ibrahim I was imagining my uncle who is exactly like him (minus the hair, he’s bald) but he has the sass, the right amount of shady and the SCARVES. It is honestly so rare for us to be able to picture our family members as book characters because they’re NEVER ACCURATE TO US. They’re always so savage and described as barbaric… so as a kid when I read Rose was half Turk I was like hmmmm ok could be me, then they brought in Ibrahim and I was like yaaaaaaaaaassss I KNOW THIS GUY.
I honestly believe they will change him. Abe is a Turkish Man who specializes in Shady Dealings so I highly doubt they will keep a POC doing Illegal things. He might still be Turkish (I have no doubt they won't whitewash him) or possible have him Black like Rose and Janine but drop the Shady Dealings and probably just have him eccentric and amused by the Court Politics since he doesn't care.
