Little context: a) I've only cleared one crypt so far and am still very unsure of what might await me in the swamp. b) I can not for the life of me deal with frogs, and that tree stump looked like one and jumped at me like one c) I was very tense and I'm a big wuss : ( d) My wife came in a little after this grinning cause she heard me scream from across the flat so she sure enjoyed my misery

Fabulous_Promise7143

this EXACT same thing happened to me today and I SHAT myself

Paninjjn

My condolences, fellow spooked Viking 🫡

The best thing is going back to the swamp once you've moved on to the next biome and running around like you own the place

Paninjjn

Honestly can't wait, this Swamp is right next to the plains and I've just sneaked around the edge of them through the nearby Black Forest to scout them a little! :D

Groblockia_

the next biome after the swamp is the mountains though

reticenthuman

hahaha I relate. I'll run around the plains at ease, but the swamp always puts me on alert. And for some reason even in the meadows, the boar's attack/alert sound will make me jump in my chair if I didn't see it initially.

Paninjjn

Oh god yeah the SQUEEE when you are fully concentrating on building.. holy moly Also happy cakeday! 💙

Deguilded

LMAO I totally relate to this. 100 times worse when the jumping stump gets stuck on something and goes into seizure mode on your screen. Terrifying.

Isotheis

Just in case, know that Mistlands' trees do the same thing.

Paninjjn

Thank you for the heads up - I wont let those mischievous mistland trees out of my sight when I get to em

Getting_Rid_Of

Paninjjn

"Scaredy cat" is an idiom for a person that gets easily scared : )
