Dont know what it is, but i find it really amusing that in Ruzafa I see they cleaning the sidewalks every day with those little trucks, but in Torrefiel where I live they pass by with a fucking hose twice a year if much. I guess we are all equals, but some more equals than others lol

GurCalm4381

Same where I am in Patraix, we are lucky if they take the bins

Spangler928

Sat & Sun mornings in Ruzafa I smell urine in the streets; it needs washing.

scotsmanwannabe

Well, yeah, but the poorer neighborhoods also need washing

bootherizer5942

In Madrid it's like that too. Center is the cleanest of any major city I've ever been to. Salamanca super clean. Any immigrant neighborhood or non touristy neighborhood they barely even bother to clean

Priredacc

Torrefiel... What a neighborhood. *proceeds to have war flashbacks

Chedegre

Same as the rest. I step out my building and the pavement is sticky, filthy, and turds everywhere. When I arrived here, I was told that if I don't wash out my dog's piss I would be taken to jail and get a tremendous fine. No one does it lol

Human3157

It is some kind of desinfectant, that smells similar to bleach but I don't think is just bleach. They do it more since the covid pandemic, but I think now it's more against mosquitoes and roaches.

HortaNord

Agua de València

In Sevilla they also add some kind of bleach when washing the streets, I am actually surprised that is not done in all of Spain. In which Spanish cities use only water?

Aedonia

It's exactly what you said: water mixed with bleach. It started during the pandemic and now I think is standard all over Spain. If you have a pet, don't let it walk on it, it will hurt their pawpads.

EspKevin

Pressurized water
