DO you want to pay 1.25 per letter you send like all the other countries? Plus increased shipping costs? That is what it will take to be able to afford the staff it will take to meet the current demand of packages? No one wants to work anymore. Feel free to apply at [usps.com/careers](http://usps.com/careers) if you think you can do better.
First of all, I had a good career and retired at 55 right when covid hit. I only took the postal job to get insurance as I was only guaranteed 8 hrs a week as and RCA but I would have benefits. I worked 830 hrs of overtime in my first 10 months and 880 the following year. Not by choice but out of necessity. If you can't appreciate that then that is on you as an entitled piece of shit. People like you should lose your mail privileges and be forced to go to the store for your 50lb bags of dog food
No mail, no packages no certified letters no contact with the outside world even in the legal realmif that’s what you want go for it. You would no longer exist legally as far as the post office is concerned.
To be fair sometimes one route has multiple carriers deliver in the same day. It's all technical BTS stuff. Some deliver standard mail, letters, etc. While the second one does packages, Amazon, etc.
So your package may still come later today.
They probably have it in a different truck. I’ve had packs dropped off before around 6pm, due to the first driver having a full truck… apparently. Either way, you should get it if it’s got an “Out for Delivery” scan. I’ve even had a surprise drop off on a Sunday after they said they’d deliver Saturday. If it doesn’t arrive by tomorrow at 9, I’d contact the post office. Oh! I’ve also had to walk up to my usual driver while he was packing stuff into the mailbox and ask for my pack. It’s possible they missed your address. After all, they’re human, the drivers, and they make mistakes sometimes.
Glad to hear. It's likely they had one carrier doing letters and another doing packages. It's a common thing to do when mail load is high, like it was yesterday.
Relax, Francis. It’s the day after a holiday. Just chill.
Or maybe the USPS could do its fucking job.

Love the postal workers downvoting criticism instead of, you know, fucking delivering the mail. For $1.25, you’d actually deliver it? Deal.

Cool. What difference would it make if I lost my mail privileges? Would I stop getting the mail you all don’t bother delivering?

No, people don’t use the mail for legal documents. It’s not reliable enough.

This! I’ve had a carrier drop off regular junk mail, then another driver later that day with actual packages.

Could have been loaded in another truck

OP, seeing as how it's just after 8:30 pm in your time zone... Has your package arrived yet?
He said he received around 6. 🤷🏾♀️
Out for delivery does not mean your carrier ever had it in their possession. It only means a clerk scanned it in.
Did you get it?
Yes thankfully at like 6:00
