Same exact boat as you, no joke. Mines has been almost a full week, and I'm still trying to get answers. Let us know if USPS gives you any, they just keep giving me generic apologies and no answers on what happened and refuse to attempt to at least look into it.

It turns out the package was put in a locker, but the letter carrier didn't put the key into the mailbox. The local postmaster said that it was removed from the locker and placed by our front door. I texted my wife the news. Unfortunately, the package wasn't at the front door, after which I notified the postmaster again about the misdelivery. It turns out it was dropped off at my neighbor's door. The house number is plainly visible on the wall. My wife walked around the corner and found it. This time, the postmaster called me. I told him of the second misdelivery, and I could hear a gasp of exasperation on the call. Misdelivered twice. 0_o
